Diito on the, there is NO such thing as a tea cup...Ppl use that term to real you in and NO reputable breeder would use that term. Where are you getting him from?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | No breeder can predict adult weight, she can give you an indication within a pound or two, but most breeders always guess smaller. Some breeders will sell before the 12 weeks age, so buyers will think their dog will be smaller. Remember that there is no different classifications for yorkies like there is for some breeds, all yorkies are in the toy breed, and standard is 7 pounds and below. I suggest looking for a breeder who breeds to standard. Beware of breeders who use the word "teacup", their dogs are often bigger than standard, and they use the word to attract buyers. A 2 pound 12 week old puppy is estimated to be 4 pounds as an adult, but this varies, and no breeder can guarantee this. You should visit the breeder and see what the breeding pair looks like; puppies will resemble the breeding pair. The only way you can buy a 4 pound dog is to buy an adult dog, who is through growing.

| Thank you for the photos. i paid the lady a large amount of money with her assuring me that the puppy is going to be VERY tiny. 3 pounds she said fully grown and now the story has suddenly changed a few days before picking up my new puppy. I was really looking for a very small dog.

| BEFORE you pick up the puppy.... I would make sure this little one is 12+ weeks old. Breeders don't usually let the smaller ones go until they get alittle more weight on their bodies!! If you don't mind me asking.... where are you getting your pup from??? |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Run the other way!!!! This puppy should be with her mother, we've had other people buy puppies this size, and the outcome has been disastrous. You cannot trust this breeder!
