Part of the reason you haven't read about it is because they have been docked for years, so there wouldn't be any problem with breakage. Lol, I don't mind debates, I'm really interested in different opinions. Joey was born with a broken tail, I guess it just sometimes happens, the breeder docked it longer than most, I assume because of the breakage, and not wanting to cut at that point, I never asked her. During Joey's first vet check, the vet asked me if I wanted him to fix it, he said that he could break it and set it, if I were planning to show. I asked him if the broken tail was painful for Joey now, and he said it was not painful. There is no way, at that point I wanted him to break and set it, that to me would have been purely for cosmetic reasons, and it would have caused Joey a lot of pain. However, I'm not convinced that the actual docking is for purely cosmetic reasons, and I don't think it causes that much pain, not when compared to what breaking it at a later time would cause. I'll probably never be able to have a dog with a tail like Joeys again, to me it's perfection; it was broken and docked!

Or was the original Oreo covered in white chocolate and over the years the standard has changed. Sorry, just had to get that in.

Hey-original Oreos are the best and they are preferred according to the average Oreo eater. I dont know exactly why, but if ya'll are willing to listen to WHY I love the orginal Oreo then I'd be glad to share, but we'll be here all night long with a new debate.

We haven't had them for long. I don't know exact dates , a couple of years perhaps . The ones covered in the white chocolate came out as a limited edition for over the Christmas period.

why don't we just ban all cosmetic surgery for everyone... and while we are at it we can ban body piercing and tattoos... and for that matter any thing that will harm us in any way... I think that people who want to tell other people what to do have way too much time on their hands... yes we all have our opinions but I don't see any point in arguing about it if its not going to change anything, tail docking has been done for a really long time and if anyone is worried about hurting animals, then we should try shutting down puppymills and byb first... then work on the whole tail docking issue...JMO

oh and the chocolate covered oreos are IMO the best

I do agree that puppy mills and BYB's are a bigger issue.

But humans getting cosmetic surgery is totally different, just saying. Most people choose to get breast implants, or a face lift, etc, and I don't have anything against it. If it makes them happy... whatever, go for it. Dogs don't have a choice so it's different.

And. I do like the chocolate oreos.
