| Please...if you care about your dog and her puppies at all...have them all spayed and neutered and place them in loving pet homes for the cost of puppy shots and the spay and neuter. |

To me that shows how much, in fact, she did want the puppy, if she was willing to pay $400 for a mixed breed. Like I said before, you should have been thankful that someone wanted to pay you that much for your pup, as you were just giving them away for free. Sorry if it sounds a bit harsh, just my opinion!

| I dont think everyone who advertises in a newspaper is a bad breeder. Everyone is open to investigation before choosing a pup AND before a breeder chooses the buyer....SOOOOOOOO long as that investigation is completed. I saw someone a few weeks ago selling pups on the side of the road. It made me sick and I was sure to shake my finger at them. I'm not normally the type to do that to a stranger, but this just really got to me. I'm just thankful that there are breeders that dont practice this type of thing and truly care where their babies end up. |

| omg you're right. I just went back and reread. I sound like a nut case. I'm sorry, I was still angry from the lady! and I started a whole bunch of "what ifs" in my mind. AHHHH. about the ring. I know having money doesn't mean someone will love the puppy more. but I wouldn't give my puppy to someone who didnt' have money. No because they wont love the pupppy but because they may not beable to care for the puppy. I just worry. I'm sorry i really did sound like a nutcase. I have decided i'm not selling the puppies, I dont think i'm going to deal with anymore offers i'm just going to give them to who i promised them to. yes my best friend and my bf's mother loves the puppies they just feel bad because i wont let them pay for the puppies or help with the medical bills. I told them it's my responsibility. they've helped me take care of the puppies from day one. |

| I believe that if someone has a breeding program and had the screenings done on both the sire and dam...and had an accidental breeding that resulted in mixed puppies, it still costs the same to raise that litter outside of reg papers. I can see paying more for one of those pups.....but to pay the same as a purebred??? Heck no. |

| Okay so I'm not too sure as to why you would ONLY pay more for papers ? What about the love that went into your baby ? I paid £300 for my shorkie and £250 for my Yorkie. I bought my Yorkie first, sadly in an uneducated mind it was from a byb. Yet six weeks later i bought my shorkie for more, why did i agree to pay more you may ask ? Well after reading posts on here of course !!! I read...... what effort goes into breeding. the financial costs of the pregnancy and whelping. the time and effort from the breeder. and the pure love that goes into making these wonderful babies !!!! Plus so much more as you all know yourselves. The breeder vetted ME, fell in love with ME not my £££ and she knew i was the ONE for HER princess and that's what she was, she was the breeders princess before being mine !!! I'm obsessed with my pure bred Yorkie but don't get me wrong i wouldn't have bought her if I'd found this site first ! I don't know what went into the making and nurturing of her or her parents. I traveled 246mile round trip to get my Yorkie from which she was produced from a shed in the garden i didn't see the mother (my fault I was distracted with my crying skin baby and shock of the situation !) Is it silly to pay what you feel is worth for a "mutt" Or is it better to pay (WHAT I FEEL IS) over priced for papers from god knows who with god knows what has gone into anything ??? I felt it was worth it and and would pay that a thousand times over for my Lola ! In my opinion it's each to their own and a life is a life after all. sorry for the long long long post ![]() ALSO this is just my personal opinion i don't for one minute think your babies were dragged up the wrong way or that all you were interested in was the papers. just i selected my baby carefully this time around and from a wonderful person too AND did NOT pay over the odds. xxx

Take a stroll down the sick and injured section.....I paid so I'd never have to sign onto YT and post "my dog is sick and I found out the hard way that my breeder knew nothing about breeding dogs"..... If you happened to have a good tempered and healthy pet, thats great, but not everyone has that happy ending. | |
