I paid for health, temperment, a dog within the breed standard, and a dog that was brought up from knowledgeable and informed breeder. So why did I want papers??? Its not about a piece of paper, its about knowing exactly what I wanted and what I was getting before my animals became a member of my family. There was more love poured into the planned breeding of my dog than BYB and purchasers realize. Its sad to say that there are a lot of "papered" dogs that are not bred by responsible breeders, but thats why you should take your time in choosing the next member of your fur family.
Take a stroll down the sick and injured section.....I paid so I'd never have to sign onto YT and post "my dog is sick and I found out the hard way that my breeder knew nothing about breeding dogs".....
If you happened to have a good tempered and healthy pet, thats great, but not everyone has that happy ending.
