Like I said I already had homes for my puppies (free). What she said just made me think that she doesn't really want a mix breed. So I didn't want to give any puppies to her for any amount NOT EVEN FOR MORE THAN 600.

To me that shows how much, in fact, she did want the puppy, if she was willing to pay $400 for a mixed breed. Like I said before, you should have been thankful that someone wanted to pay you that much for your pup, as you were just giving them away for free. Sorry if it sounds a bit harsh, just my opinion!
