It seems very likely that that is where Cookie got out!! I have been praying that he is returned to you since I read your first post. I agree about the hawk - I have asked some people and they said exactly what you were told. I think someone has him. |
:thumbup:I think your answer's lay in the neighbor's hand's.. unless there is also a whole in their fence!!!! Use your "gut" instincts and you will have your answers!!!!!! |
I have been gone for 2 weeks and I kept wondering off and on if you had Cookie back yet. I was hoping when I checked today he would be home. I will continue to hope and pray for you. |

That is what I am going to do. I'm trying to clear my mind and ask God to help point me in the right direction. I spoke to another yorkie owner who's tiny yorkie has been missing since Nov 28th. She is posting like crazy on craigslist also. I spoke to her on the phone today and I could feel my pain in her voice. I just held the phone with tears running down my face because I could not reply. Everything she was saying are things that Cookie does also. He sleeps with her and follows her everywhere. We just dont understand the people that actually think they are better off by keeping someone's pet not knowing or not caring how devastated that owner must be. Tomorrow I visit the Humane Society again. I hate going there because I feel like taking a lot of those dogs home. Gen |
I have been following this thread in hopes that you find your baby. I hope that the neighbors will help. If there is an alley or any other place that he could have gone I would follow those places and ck all the back yards you can (ie... large ladder to ck all the yards from yours);) I hope Cookies comes home soon... good luck! |
I cant take this rollercoaster of emotions!! just got a call I just got a call a minute ago from a woman saying that she found a yorkie very small and she took him home and has him in the garage. I asked her toplease take a picture and email it to me. So she is on her way home. Some of the things she said does NOT sound like Cookie. She said she gave him food and he growled at her when she put the bowl down. So either this yorkie is starving. She doesnt even know if its a boy or girl. Her son says its about 4-5lbs but they are not sure cuz its hard to tell. I am desperately waiting for that picture of the yorkie. I hope and am praying so hard right now ,my heart is bursting out of my chest. I will let you guys know asap Gen |
Oh my gosh! God PLEASE let this be Cookie! |
Let's all hope this is the happy ending we've been waiting for. |
OMG Are you kidding me??? Could it be him??? Oh please Lord let it be him. It is just too painful for his family to be without him for another minute. Please!!! I'm praying and praying!!! |

Please, please, please be Cookie! :xfingers: |
its not him:cry: My husband rushed over there and it was a small female. He said she's very playful and rolled over for him to rub her belly. The lady told me it was a male! She felt so embarressed. She weighs about 5 lbs and my hubby said she's about 6-8 yrs old. The lady asked where she could get it scanned and I told her any vet in the area will do it for free. I told her her owner is probably looking for her. My hubby said it was better that I didnt see the yorkie because he was rushing there expecting to go pick Cookie up . My neck and back of head is full of tension right now. I hate this. I just want to have him back and I feel this is an eternity. Gen |
I am so sorry it wasn't him. I can't even imagine the disappointment you are feeling. You are going above and beyond looking for Cookie. He has to be returned to you. I check this post a few times a day, hoping for good news. Good luck with finding Cookie. Hang in there and keep doing what you are doing. |
I'm so sorry it wasn't cookie. I'll keep praying he comes home |
Oh honey I am so very sorry it was not Cookie. I am so disappointed for you. He has to be out there and he has to come home. I believe what you felt the other day with the dry heaving was a panic attack. I used to get them for about 3 years before I decided to go to the dr. and have something prescribed to settle my nerves. Sorry your daughter encountered a heartless idiot. My daughter just turned 15 a few weeks ago. I know what they think, ya know. Sometimes people are just cruel at any age. Please go about your routine of putting up those Christmas decorations even though your heart isn't in it. Your daughter need you too!! Try to stay strong, I know one of these calls will be Cookie. |
I'm so sorry Gen. It's been such a rollercoaster for you and your family:( Still praying for Cookie's safe return to you arms:hands: |
I'm so sorry that it wasn't Cookie... He must be with someone, and he will come home to you... Just don't give up hope! He is your baby, and he needs you to continue being strong. Just keep thinking- one of those phone calls will be Cookie!! |

1 Attachment(s) I finally got a picture of the Yorkie found. I'm sure this girl has an owner out there looking for her. She does not look like she's been on the street too long though. Gen |

Gen have your DH go to the house where the hole was and tell them about the hole in the fence and ask them if he can go out in their yard and have a good look. make sure he looks in and under every thing and even look to see if maybe they also have a another hole some where in their fence. check it out really good. |
