| Thankyou all for posting all your pics Yogi, Morgan, Lacey and Murphy are all absolutely gorgeous! ![]() I'll try and take some pics later of Twinkle and Wicket so I can show you how their coats are growing. Seeing your pics has made me definitely want to persevere and let it grow. I wasn't sure how it would look because of their non-silky coats, but I can see that it will look beautiful! xxx

| Hi, I am growing Josh hair long too. I cannot wait to see pictures of your dogs with their long coat. I guess we are going to grow our dog's coat long together. |

| All the furbabies are so gorgeous with their cottony coats, you all keep them so groomed. Rockie has the cotton coat too. l would like to try the long eventually but he fights the brushing.

I really hope I can get Twinkle and Wicket's coats to grow as beautifully as all of the babies posted in this thread. The hair on their faces and chests seems to be growing quicker than on their bodies! Wicket's 'skirt' looks long, but probably because he has very short legs! Quote:
), and he gets a treat when we're finished. Now, when he sees the brush he gets all excited! xxxI find it fascinating that the cotton-coated yorkies seem to have much darker colouring. Wicket still has lots of dark puppy coat on his back (and I was hoping he would stay darker), but his roots are very light, and Twinkle is lighter-coloured too. xxx

| Everybody's furbabies are soo cute! Here's Momo w/his full cottony coat He matts very easily & he had soo much hair. He was doing this all the time bc he was soo hot. LolHe's sporting a er cut now soo much easier to take care of. He feels soo velvety soft, like cotton.

![]() I considered (well, still considering) a similar cut for Murphy but it's his legs that mat the worst and give me fits. I just don't know if this style would help me much during his grooming. Do you have problems with the feet/legs/underarm area on Momo?

| I think Scooter has cotton hair, matts easily so we brush once or twice a day. If I don't brush him it has the texture of a cotton ball. After I brush him it feels silky He is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 5.7 lbs. I have never cut his skirt so it's just about to the floor.

| Momo and Scooter are both gorgeous thank you for sharing pics of your soft-coated babies ![]() I have to brush Twinkle and Wicket twice a day too.....they love to being in the garden so they always come in with little bits of twig and leaves in their coats and they both have very thick hair. I had originally decided to keep them both in a puppy cut, but I just love the look of the longer coat. I wasn't sure if it would grow long because they're not silk, but now I see that I can!

| My Scampers has a modified coat. Not quite silky but not cottony. It feels so nice and doesn't matt easily. Right now I have him shaved down for summer but otherwise he is kept in a full coat. Here are his pics...

Slicker brushes are best to get the job done on the legs (since great length isn't needed there), but Momo won't have that. I have to be very gentle w/him. Lol He makes the cutest noises too.

You are so sweet. Josh's hair grows faster around his face and chest than his body, because he is growing his hair out from a short haircut. All the Yorkies on this thread are so adorable. | |

| His eyes are beautiful! Are they that light in person or does the picture just make them look like that?
