Here is my Dexter, he has cotton coat, he matts sooo easily so I keep him in a puppy cut year round and put a sweater on him in the winter! He is so soft though and stayed black!

Daisy has a thick, cottony, very soft coat. I love that it doesn't matt. I have lots of pics of her in my Albums if you want to take a look at her. I have always kept her short because she looks pretty 'wild' when that thick coat grows even a little bit.
