I think Scooter has cotton hair, matts easily so we brush once or twice a day. If I don't brush him it has the texture of a cotton ball. After I brush him it feels silky

He is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 5.7 lbs. I have never cut his skirt so it's just about to the floor.
