It's purely selfish of me that I offer this perk. I know in the long run, I'm probably giving the pups away. But, it allows me to see my pups regularly. In addition I can see the offsprings of breedings and repeat breedings grow.

There are more people on here who bought from BYB, Brooker's, Puppymiller's,
pet stores or bad breeder's than you can imagine. Mistakes happen that's
how most of us found YT in the first place. Looking for help for one reason
or another.
Not all puppies from the above places are sick. Buddy was not and I am
so very fortunate about that. He came from a broker. He's much bigger
than the standard but his health is great.
What's done is done. Don't fret or be sick over this. Be happy, enjoy
knowing your little one will be here soon. Get his things ready and
think positive. Know you may have saved him from a life of misery.
Remember all the love you have to give him and all the fun times
that lie ahead for both of you. Don't worry about things that may
or may not happen. Do research on good food, tricks to teach him
and find a good vet. Lot's to keep you busy while waiting for his
arrival.
Post pictures for us to see when he comes.
Enjoy your new baby and congratulations and good luck,

if your willing to take the loss in money and your uncomfortable with continuing with the process then its best to cut your losses now before you get in too deep. i'm sure you'll be able to find what your looking for here in the yorkies for sale section.

I think you have to reach inside your soul and really think about what
you want.
I for one, would not loose $495.00 because my Yorkie will be around
6-7lbs. Perfect size. Chances are, if he's big now, he's going to be
more than that. I also would not want a tiny. So you have to determine
exactally what you want. A healthy puppy would be my first thought.
To me who cares about the size if your not breeding and you can't breed
a tiny anyhow. Each of us have our own thoughts, no one can tell
you what to do. Only you can do that.
Having a larger Yorkie I just want to tell you they are no different
in personality than the tinies. A Yorkie is a Yorkie.

My, my, my. Six or Seven Pounds is still a small yorkie, it's within the standard.

From personal experience at 10 weeks of age, you really can't determine how big or small a dog is going to be......I usually have a toad in every litter, one that just grows faster than the others, then all of a sudden the others will catch up and one will get bigger than the toad......Remember at 10 weeks of age the pup has a lot of milk fat.

well its really not too much the size well i was hoping more like 5 lbs a little smaller
but the problem is i dont even know if this is hes correct weight this what i got from the company so too me it dosnt seem that they really no how could they not the breeder should know his size? and he might not even look like he did in the pic because that pic was taking when he was first born i just found out today so its kind of miss leading someone
Hello I just got off the phone with Mr. Manners' breeder. She told me that Mr. Manners weight about 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 lbs. He is not being trained with wee wee pads, but he is being crate trained and taught about being in a crate and getting comfortable with it. I asked her for an updated picture of him and she said she will send one over tomorrow. Hope all is well.

Best Regards,
Lisa

Hi there, I Have only read a few of the posts here on your thread, please forgive me if this has already been repeated.
IMO, I believe the very best way to find a yorkie puppy is throgh a reputabale breeder, and one who you can go to their home. See the littler of pups, the mother of the pups, talk to the breeder, ask the breeder asll kinds of questions, and the breeder will ask you a ton of questions too. It will be a interview. A good breeder, wants to make sure the puppies are going to a wonderful, safe, loving, forever, home. Will have a health contract , a health gaureentee, and your puppy will be in excellent condition, coming from a wonderful breeder who knows what she is doing.
I would never just go by a picture or updates from email , OR by anything done from the internet when something like bringing home a new , live precious puppy home. Because their is nothing of a gaureentee. I believe it is too much of a chance to take in this case.
A YT member, who is and has established a good reputable breeder reputation, I would STILL do everyting in my power to jump on an airplane and meet her, to pick up my new puppy. Or drive to her home , just so I could meet her and talk to her, and meet the mother of the puppies, ideally the father of the puppies too.
There have been many sad stories on YT aboust puppies being picked up at the airport very sick. Some so sick the puppy having to spend days at the vet . After the new owner spent thousands , on obtaining the yorkie puppy, shipping costs, and airline costs. The puppy is deathly ill.
I hope everything works out well for you. And this turns out as a happy ending .
I still am uncleasr as to why you really want a very small yorkie? Yorkies are naturally a small breed , however, these days the "IN" thing right now is the smaller the better. However, it is still difficult to predict how big a puppy will turn out full grown. I just hope you will love him , if he gets bigger then you orginally planned.

It sounds like you are upset because he may be larger than 5lbs .. But truthfully speaking, ANY Yorkie you purchase as a pup could be larger than 5 lbs. Sometimes, some grow faster and some grow slower and have a spurt. I think it's sad to base a decision on size.. I would rather have a healthy dog than base it on weight.

However, if you are dead set on 5lbs.. your best bet is to cancel, lose the money and find a pup about 6 months that is around 4 lbs and hopefully they will meet your 5lb standard. Even then, there is a chance they MIGHT NOT. So please take that into consideration before making a final decision. The ONLY WAY you are guaranteed to get a 5lber is by PURCHASING A 5lber at around 9 months or 1 year. By then they are done or almost done growing for sure.

The Yorkie Growth Chart is not full proof, My Gucci was on target to be 5 lbs but he is now 6.5 lbs and FULL OF LOVE!! and Very small 9.5 inches in length and 9 in height the same size body wise as some 3lb yorkies just a CHUNKY BUTT AND LOOKS LIKE A BRICK rather than say a small stick lol. I would love him no matter if he was 2lbs or 10... and I am sure you will feel the same once mr.manners arrives. He is gorgeous in the pic.

Hope this helps you out...

im willing to except his size i really dont no longer care about the weight... however i wanted a smaller one around 5 lbs... but his weight would have been ok... i really am not sure how he looks now im judging from a picture when he was first born so in reality i dont really know what mr manners, looks like.. i mean we all want a healty dog... and im pretty sure he is ..but if your buying a dog people all have choice of looks and i picked manner because i fell in love with his looks and personality.. however this was when he was very young.. im thinking he was going to look like this now..but after i spoke with the breeder i was told to ask if the picture was updated? i found out its not it not fear too buy a dog you really havent even seen? i would like a attractive puppy as we as healthy weight, one... i believe no one would buy something they didnt even really seen
i did speak with purebredbreeder, i explain too them its very wrong to show a picture of a Dog, too a buyer if its a very old picture..and i will wait but after i get the picture tomorrow i will make my decission .. on if i will buy him, they did address mybe i can exchange him for another they wasnt sure so i dont lose money and i have a legit complaint..the fact the sales person failed to meantion his pictures are so out of date so the puppy might look very different from this picture are you ok with that?

I can understand what you mean by that. His pic is adorable and to be honest he probably doesn't look too much different, just longer hair.. I guess you will soon see.

I will post a pic of Gucci at 8 weeks and then around 10 and 12 weeks so you can see how they change. Their features kinda stay the same, but the hair grows. Also you can see an updated Gucci in my avatar over to the left.

Good Luck with whatever you choose to do... and I hope you find the right pup for you.

Did you ask if they have any breeders in MA that might be close enough for you to visit?

Pictures are nice, but Yorkie pups change a lot over time as a pup.

is this is mayeb your breeder she breeds sheep too I guess, but they look clean and maybe show ones or something??

Hurliman Club Lambs - Dorsets, Suffolks, Hamps & Speckled Face

It is her, she doesn't seem like a huge breeder but she did breed westies and maltese as well, she also offered to let people come visit or drop in at her kennel so maybe your pup will be fine
