| I am pretty careful with what human food Mia eats. she has had one tiny tiny piece of a french fry. Lettuce from my salad, no dressing. A piece of banana, she did not like it. If somehow she sneaks past her gate, and makes it upstairs then it is a BONANZA!! My teenager is a clean kid but once in a while he will leave something on the floor in his room. I have caught her with a candy box, a french fry container. Not sure if they were empty when she found them. This thread reminded me of my previous dog that loved GUACAMOLE!! She was a 95 pound German shepherd. I worked for a gourmet Mexican Food Company for years. Part of my job was eating the food!! So after work I would come home, pour a beer, and work a little more.....(LOL) Molly would sit and enjoy the guacamole with me. LOL silly silly Molly!! |

| Lucy occasionally has a corner of my hot buttered toast (just a tiny bit) or a cluster of my oat cereal (Jordans). And she once had some ice cream - again, only a tiny bit - but we were having some, so why shouldn't she? (Okay, I know all the reasons why not - but a little lick can't hurt once in a blue moon - can it?)

| Yorkie mad - yes I think she had an iron stomach. She was awesome. Once I was on a cooking binge...gonna get lots of cooking done for the week. I made a 10 pound meatloaf. I was gonna freeze some, eat some. Well I took it out of the oven, put in on the counter to cool while we had our dinner in the dining room. You can guess... when I returned to the kitchen after dinner the meat loaf was gone. Looked all over for it. Thought the kids were playing a trick on me. Found the empty pan. Waited for Molly to get sick or something. Nothing, just one full tummy. After that I never left food out on the counter again. We fed her freely, she just was a piggy! (A slim beautiful piggy!) She has been gone for about a year now. We had her for almost 14 years. We rescued her so I am not sure how old she was when she passed. |

| I know Max has been in my sons room ( told him and told him to keep the door shut, my son not Max lol ) and god only knows the things he has eaten. Also when we have gone for walks they will find things and knowing I will take it away will eat it so fast I don't even know what it was. And last weekend I had a family BBQ so I'm sure someone gave them something when I'm not looking.

I have the same problem with my kids. I have let Mika try sausages, burgers, crisps and choc biscuits just little bits though. They need a little treat now and again. His favourite at the moment is raw carrot. He loves it and its really good for there teeth.
