| I wanted a girl dog for all the 'cutesy' stuff, but wanted a boy at the same time, because I always feel like boy dogs bond better with women. So I got a boy first, then naturally a girl had to follow!! |

milu gets asked if she is a boy sometimes, and i just look at the person asking and say "she is wearing pink!!!!!" and then they will usually tell me that people dress their boy dogs that way as well....

so you think boys are more affectionate than girls? milu is my first dog, so i don't really have anything to compare to. i do think that she is independent though.

| My family always seemed to end up with male dogs, so I wanted a female. I wanted to see what it would be like to have a female for a change, plus as others have said, there are so many cute bows, outfits, etc. for females. When I went to the breeder, there were 2 in the litter: Molly and her brother. I chose Molly from when she was just 2 weeks old. She has turned into a cute, feminine "mommy's girl", which I find endearing. Next time around, I'll choose the dog that chooses me.

YT 2000 Club Member | I didnt want another dog but when a close friend of ours, dogs had puppies we just had to go see them. I fell in love.. there was only males in the litter so thats how we got Tucker. I personally prefer girls and if I ever get another dog it will definitly be another girl. Tucker is a ball of energy, was hard to potty train, and he is just so crazy..lol. but he is very loyal, loves to snuggle and is def. a momma's boy..

| Oh I just love them so. I think that my boys were more affectionate and cuddly than Mad. And it seems like the girls are more independent. Maddie will cuddle too but it is only if she is tired, Or really missed me. Copper wants to be held in the stores and little Maddie would prefer to walk on her own. She is quite the prissy little thing. They are both playful but Maddie likes to wrestle and chase and Copper likes to play fetch and hide the ball. I really like having one of each, can ya tell

| We got Ramsey from our son's girlfriend's family. We were given 1st choice and I was sure I wanted a girl. We'd go visit and I could never decide on which of the 3 I wanted. It was actually DH and our son that made the choice. They both really liked the boy because of his personality and markings. The only problem I had with it was that I didn't have a name for a boy. DH solved that by suggesting Ramsey since I'm a huge Dave Ramsey fan. That sealed the deal. |

| We got a girl because I really like girl dogs better. We have only ever had girl dogs. Tiki was the only girl in the litter so we got her. My girlfriend ended up buying her brother and I love him a lot too. They see and play with each other several times a week and I am "babysitting" right now while his parents go to a concert for their their grandson. He IS a mama's boy for sure. They bonded tighter than tight when he had to have surgery on his knees and had to be kept from running for weeks. She held him a lot! These siblings only wear clothes (a sweater) when they go outside in the cold. I love my girl but she is still a doggie and she doesn't like clothes. Tikis Mom |

| I wanted a female from the start. Mainly because I did not want to deal with the leg lifiting issues. i love both genders Yorkies are, however, prefer the girl yorkies at my home. Suzi is feisty, sweet, loving, and very smart. I never had any problems with her not wanting her to be with us. In fact she always wants to be close to us! She can't get enough attention! And yes, she's a tad bit on the spoiled side. Oh well, Isn't that what a yorkie is for

| I've always had boys, and love them...but for me the real reason was the money. I have never been one to dress my dogs, so that part was not important to me.
