YT Addict | Yes. I take him to the pet stores with me and he always seems to like the little fluffy pink clothes and the ones with the ribbons, bows and glitter the best. His favorite shirt is an argyle sweater that is hot pink , turquoise, and purple. I don't care if he dresses like a girl, since I am a sociology major I am all about breaking gender roles. I don't think it is a problem, I see nothing wrong with it.

| I saw Mimi's beautiful face and she stood out within the other doggies. When I held her she stood so still and looked into my eyes. =D I then fell in love with her lol. plus i love the little's girl's attitude I think its so cute.!

My Little Man! Donating Member | I wanted to get a boy but to me it did not matter as much. The most important thing for me was the connection. My little man chose me

| Ha, don't laugh. I only had 1 dog growing up as a kid. After that we always had cats. Well, that dog was a female and my mom always told me that females were cleaner ( i'm sure she ment they don't hump pillows) Anyway, that has always stayed with me. However, I'm sure it's not true Plus, the dresses and bows were also a plus. |

YT 500 Club Member | My husband wanted a female. He said they make the best pets. I always like male cats, but he said female dogs are the best. I accepted his advice and am very happy with our baby.

However, I don't think dogs "pick" the pink and fluffy sweaters because they like the style of them, lol. Dogs do not understand style, color, etc. Therefore you are the one picking out the pink and fluffy clothes! But he's your dog and I have no right to pry...

| The breeder only had 1 boy left and he was so loving and easy going, I just feel for him hook line and sinker, he's my baby and I wouldn't swap him for a million dollars.

| I got a girl puppy because I was concerned about the marking issue. My mother-in-law used to have a male yorkie and the marking was a messy problem. I've heard pros and cons to both genders. Some people say that the male dogs are more lovable and want to be with their moms. My female is very much a love bug and likes being with people. She is a snuggler! I guess each dog is different.

| The first Yorkie I met was a female. There were two boy Yorkies in the same family but I preferred the females personality, so that was always my choice. Yorkies are a matriarchal breed it seems and I kind of like the sassiness of the females. I like pink too but that was never part of it. And boys do...boy things. We were around a larger boy pup this weekend and he was doing his thing. No thanks... I just don't want to deal with that right now.
