| I agree with "bfforever" Mr. Darcy was the tiny 3rd boy of the littler. Sweet and wanted to be carried all the time. He's now a brave and very strong willed fellow but with endless affection to give. When I wake up he sits on my tummy looks into my face and rubs cheek to cheek, every morning. He also pats my face with his paw. Health and personality is so important. A good beginning creates a good puppy. |

| This is funny. I've had cats all my life, all boys, neutered. My bf wanted a yorkie, BUT Uni ( a girl) chose me! She crawled into my lap when the boys totally ignored me! That being said, she is a tomboy! No pink, dresses are a maybe depending on the color. Most people thing she's a boy. That's ok, tha'ts how I am too! I totally love her to pieces!

| When I went to pick out a puppy Laddy was the one who looked the most pittiful and sad . The others were playing and yapping and he just sat at my feet and stared at me with those big brown eyes. I could not say no. I have never regretted it. He is the sweetest most lovable baby. At first more attatched to daddy than mommy but since I started telling him we are getting a sister ( and yes showing him her picture) he seems to want my lap all the time. I know I know they say they dont understand our words but explain that one lol. Now I am anxious for Friday to be here because we are going to Jens to get Lolita we are so excited and will keep you all posted with pics.

when my fiance and i went to pick out our puppy, i was pretty determined that i wanted a girl. my fiance said it should be based on whichever puppy had the best personality. after we got milu, fiance only wants girl dogs if we get another dog in the future. i asked him "i thought you didn't care about the 'parts'" he told me he never looked at the dogs PARTS before i said anything. but now that i made a big deal out of it, he says that's all he sees all the time on a male dog. LOL

| I got a girl because I had lost my 13 year old male Yorkie to cancer. I didn't want to get another male and then make comparisons between the two. This way Chipper was Chipper and Piper is Piper. Sounds dumb but makes perfect sense to me.

| I found that Piper is just as affectinate as Chipper was and a lot more needier than Chipper was, but she is only a year old and in my mind still a baby. I did find that she was very hard to house break. Chipper was completely house broken by 4 months and never had any accidents. I think I can finally say that Piper is house trained. I use to call her Piddle Piper because she would piddle constantly. I was convinced she must have a bladder infection and had all the tests done. Everything would come back normal. The vet said she had an immature bladder because she was so tiny. Our piddling days are finally over.

Yes, she understands every word we say to her. I believe it completely, regardless what "they" say. If she is able to go, my husband will say, "Tiki, where is your harness?" She will run right to it and put her paws up on the blanket where we keep her harness. She knows names too. I say my brother's name and sis in laws name (they are the birth grandparents) or if I say her birth mothers name or their other Yorkie's name, she runs to me, jumps up and kisses my face. She gets very excited. But she does that with the names of everyone she knows and loves. Cute story: We were in KMart other day. I was in the ladies room so Dad had Tiki in the cart. A lady came by in a scooter with a little white dog (fluffy type) in a basket on the front of her scooter. She made a big dieal to her dog about another little dog. When they got side by side, her dog started barking at Tiki. Tiki justlooked at it and then turned her head and lay back down - as if to say,"You got a problem, doggie?" A little later, I had Tiki and saw the lady. She asked if this was the dog that her dog barked at. I told her I believed so. She asked me if Tiki ever barked. I told her, "Not in stores. She knows better". She barks at deer, cats and squirrels as she chases them out of our yard. Or the neighbors dogs because she thinks when they bark that someone is coming here........ Tiki's Mom and devoted slave. Oh, she has now got her service dog papers too. Oh, How we love her. <3 | |

| I actually wanted a Yorkie girl originally so I could name her Bella and dress her up in cute clothes with bows and pink stuff since I am in a house full of males. But when I saw Rusty I just fell in love with him and the rest of history!
