Do Yorkies sometimes look like Chuahuas?

Curious if anyone has a theory on why Ksena's breeder had me sign the ACA registration at her house so that she could send it in and pay the fee, something she said she does for everyone and then she must have thrown it away because she sent me the official registration certificate after they sent it to her stating she was the owner...in other words, she registered the dog in her name and had it sent to her instead of registering her in my name and send it to me. Maybe because I expressed my disappointment to her and on here? Or maybe she's hiding the real breeder? Any opinions? I've never seen anything like this before that's for sure........Thanks!!!!!

Typically the breeder registers the litter and then the buyer registers individual dog's in their names. From reviewing ACA's website...on an individual dog registration... the breeder's info isn't necessary. So she wasn't "hiding" that from you.

Regardless of her reasons...I'd be demanding the registration be corrected immediately

Yeah, I sent the breeder another email with no response....SHOCKING!

I think what happened is she received the litter registration papers and then she gave you yours to register the dog in your name?

I filled out the same papers for both of my ACA registered dogs. The one that I filled out for my male came back from ACA exactly the way I filled it out and it was sent directly to me from ACA. Ksena's official ACA registration came from the breeder not ACA...the breeder mailed it to me....

I think that is because Ksena is a "breeder back puppy". Didn't she get Ksena in exchange for a stud fee? The woman who sold you Ksena was put down as the owner on the ACA papers by her breeder and now ownership has to be transferred to you.

Okay, I understand the ownership part. But why did I have to fill out the ACA registration if I'm not listed on it. Also, it says she's the breeder, which means she owns the dam. How does that happen if the female is the aunt's? I named her Ksena Gramlich, put my address to send it to and was named the owner? Why? If I'm not anywhere on the official registration?

You might want to contact the ACA and see if you can figure it out. I know nothing about how the ACA operates and there isn't much information on their website.
