I hope she changes one of these days at least I pray she does. We are fighting tooth and nail over the dog and we aren't giving up the bad thing is it doesn't look like she is either ![]()

| ![]() OK, let's solve this once and for all. Out of my 4 children, I had one like your daughter and WOW, it really blew me. Then I said, know what. I AM THE MOTHER, I AM THE BOSS OF THIS HOUSEHOLD!!! And thn I hit him with some cold hard facts. Including his selfishness, self centered and how everything resolved around him. No more. It was called tough love, but guess what? He finally came around, not right away, but I could not back down. You have to hold your ground. It's like one time, I smacked my son. He said he was going to call Children Services. OMG, I was so furious I picked up the phone and said, here I'll dial the number for you. I thought, no way in hell is this kid gonna threaten me. He hung the phone up. I then told him next time I will really give him a reason to call Children Services. lol. I would do the same with your daughter. I would tell her to take you to court. Call her bluff. But I would also suggest to her that she better think twice because it would mean you would have to tell the court all about her little antics with credit cards, filling out papers for college, yada yada. If she comes to pick up the dog and brings the police, have your paperwork ready to show the police. They won't even want to get involved. They will tell your daughter to go file a civil suit. They won't waste their time with it. I kinda worked with the law a little. Police hate being called on civil matters. They can't make decisions as to who is right or wrong. That is why they tell you to file a civil suit. Only a judge can make that decision. Please believe me, you have nothing to worry about. That daughter of yours? Never too late to start tough love. Never. I don't even have to wish you good luck. The ball is in YOUR court. She has nothing...of course except the attitude problem, lol Carol and Jemma GOOD for you changing the locks. Stay firm lady, don't let any child threaten you. |

| ![]() Wow i am sorry to hear that the little one is afraid of your daughters BF! how sad. I had purchase a yorkie back when i use to live with my parents, I moved accross canada since then and had to leave my baby behind (although she loved me so so much and went everywere with me) she got attach to my mother since i moved out and everytime i go visit which is not that often since plane tickets are expensive yes cupcake(yorkie) loves me but i now consider her my mothers puppy. I use to be like that i would still pay for everything for the puppy while i was away but after a while there is no way i could ever take cupcake away from her home sweet home. I now have a new baby and cannot wait for them to meet but i knew the right thing to do was to give cupcake to my mother (and my mom was some happy to hear this as well when i told her the puppy was now her new baby since all her kids are out of the house). It is something your daughter should realise like i did. It the common sence that hthe puppy is now yours. and yes she should be aloud to visit the puppy at your house but i would limit it to that only. even if she were to turn around and pay all teh vet bills and food your little furbaby is still attach to YOU not her anymore. I wish you all teh best of luck with this.
