You are absolutely right, but you must remember it's never about your dog or if it meets standard, this is only important if you are planning on breeding your dog. No pet owner should be "evaluating" their pets, we love them no matter what! I don't think anyone every puts anyone's dog down, just because it doesn't meet standard, this is about supporting good breeders! Same with mixes, lots of Yorkietalk members own mixed breeds, again, no one ever acts like the dog isn't good enough, it's about the breeder and her goal in breeding. A breeder has to be particular, they are breeding traits into the offspring, pet owners only have to be particular about the breeder they support, they are telling the breeder that they approve of their breeding program when they purchase from them.
