i agree,i think you parents should also!but i feel as if you are not really getting what we all are trying to say,it is sad she has cancer but does that have to do with anything?

Okay bottom line is she had two dogs that got together and now she has puppies. The way I understand your post, you have been there and seen the puppies, there are a lot of red flags going up every where.

1st one, she has no papers or didn't offer any for that price

2nd one, you keep talking about the dad not looking pure breed and thats what you want or your mom will take it back. So if your thinking it is not why buy it, I know its hard to find breeders or people having 1 or 2 litters of yorkies, but that is a lot of money for a non registered dog.

3rd one, you do not want to bring a yorkie home at 6 weeks, its to young and needs to be with its mom at least till its 12 weeks old, mine aren't fully wean by them, they need there mother to teach them manners, and yorkies can have a lot of problems during this time, so they need to stay with there mom.

I don't know how much vets charge in Canada but if you get the puppy too young and have problems with it, you will be paying twice or even three times what you paid for it.

So why don't you look around first and get a puppy from a great person with puppies, that gives a health guarantee and reg. papers, and knows to keep the puppies to 12 weeks old.

Yes, its a signed contract between you and the breeder, signed by both of you. It states what health problems/vet check will be guaranteed so that, if needs be, you can return the puppy for the purchase price or she will pay for any vet bills incurred in that time limit. It should be for at least one year from purchase date.

I'll ask for all the papers...or at least the dads...she might not be able to get the moms papers since she got her in Quebec...but it's the dad I'm concerned about and is she able to get the papers where she bought the dog or is it too late!?the dad is 1years old and a couple of months

exactly,but with this not being a reputable breeder it is unlikely tha lady with cancer could afford to do that, I undersntad she has cancer and has pulled on your heart strings but this is not in your best interest to buy from her, if you and your parents can afford to pay super expenisive vet bills that will possibly come up later get the pup

Very true!! Sometimes the guarantee is only as good as the breeder. Thats why her parents should buy from a reputable breeder only.

basically,as sweet as this lady is, you just shouldnt buy from her,maybe if you feel bad for her and if you didnt give a large deposit you could afford to let her keep it?

my mom is suppsed to call her with the name were going to call him bcz she wants to call him by that name till we get it,I'll tell her to ask for a health garantee

you seem like you feel bad for the lady so if you did not give her a large deposit could you let her keep the deposit and then search for a more reputable breeder?

that was before i knew all this ....do you think its posssible for her to go get the papers for the dad? the mom isnt suspicious cuz she looks exactly like a yorkie but the dad's colour is different so thats why its suspicious

likely this lady doesnt have them,she prolly has no idea what a health guarantee invloves and even so it is less likely she can afford to promise that...bottom line is you should not buy from her but now you have given a large deposit,i wish you had found us first...
