| YT 1000 Club Member | Her pics are adorable!! We do the Yorkie shuffle too!! KiKi will be 13 months on the 17th of Dec. and weighs 2lb 10 oz....she was barely 1 lb when we got her at 13 weeks...and the vet says she is done growing....but I have heard of them growing AFTER they were a year old...so I guess ya never know...I get excited if she gains...even part of an ounce!! I am VERY protective of her too....kids always want to pick her up...but I ask them to sit on the floor instead and let KiKi come to them....which she does...KiKi loves people... Enjoy!!

| ♥ love my girls!! ♥ Donating Member | I'm sure she has a lot more time to fill out ![]() I was wondering, though, if you've had her bile acids (BAT) tested? My baby seems to have something wrong with her liver possibly, but we're still in the process figuring out exactly what (or if her test results were skewed because of any number of possibilities *sigh)......since that's been in the forefront of my brain lately, I remember reading that growing slowly or slow/no weight gain (I think??) are signs there may be a problem. I'm sure it isn't in this case, but you may want to have her BAT checked just to be sure, especially since Yorkies are 31 times more likely to have liver problems than any other breed of dog. She sure is a cutie pie!!!! What a sweet little tiny bit!!!

AND, it's great that your breeder did labs before you took her home too....very, very good!!! I don't know about you, but I worry about mine as if she were my baby (because she is!!!).....YT is so helpful to inform and give advice. I don't know where I'd be without everyone!

| She is adorable ! Love the pic. with the bow ! Chloe was 4 months old when we got her and she was 2.4 lbs. she is now 8 months and 2.5 lbs. The vet said she is healthy so who knows , she still may gain some , but for now this seems to be it.
