| Small yorkies? I was just curious if anyone else has had a yorkie puppy that they thought was going to be bigger and never grew? I know only time will tell and each line is different. I was just curious because Suri was a little over a pound when we brought her home. We did the times the weight by 2 at 12 weeks and she was supposed to be about 4lbs- 4 1/2lbs. (I know this is just a tool for fun as it is not always accurate, but what a difference.) She is now going to be 6 months old at the end of the month and she just weighed in at 1 pound 14 ounces. She is not skinny, she eats and drinks fine, she is absolutly healthy. Just curious... to see what other other owners have seen in their experiance. Oh and here are a few extra pics just cause. And as soon as school is finished I will have a bunch of clothes I bought for her that I thought she would grow into but I doubt ever will, for sale. So if you have a pup that fits a small and a few mediums you are in for a treat.

| No, the litter consisted of 4 puppies. The 2 boys were the larger pups, and the 2 girls were smaller but not by much. I picked the larger of the two girls. When I brought Suri home she was larger than the other pup by a few ounces. Then all of a sudden she didn't grow for a while. She just had a growth spurt. Anywho, the other girl pup is actually at this time larger than Suri. So I guess she turned into the runt but wasn't originally... (If that makes sense hehe....)

| Hehe...that is her nickname ever since we had to shave her body. She really looks like one when she hops around like a bunny.

| Cute pics! LOL that bow looks bigger than she is Frame and muscle mass is deceiving. Thinner frames weigh less than thicker boned, high body mass. Yet one that may weigh more, may be the same height and length. It's very hard to estimate weight because of that. She will gain a little more as she matures, usually I figure at least another lb. after 6 or 7 months old. |

| I find they pretty much quit growing around 6 mos. My little girl turned 6 mos on the 8th of this month, and she only weighs 1 lb 9 oz. I was really hoping she would grow to a little closer to 3 lbs. but, I don't see that happening. The growth charts are pretty close on a lot of pups |

| My little one did most of his growing from 8 months to 12 months. He has made it to 5 pounds and I've noticed has really filled out in the past 2 months or so (he is 16 months). So, don't give up hope! Your baby has a lot more growing to do and just may surprise you!! |
