| It's perfectly safe!! My Daizy does both...depending on her mood...sometimes she goes completely under the covers down by my tummy or other times she sticks her little head out... and my sisters baby always sleeps under her covers!! I think it's adorable!!! I can't ever imagine not sleeping with our baby!!!

| Yep yep yep! When i was younger my mom had a yorkie named sophia, when i went to bed (to go to school in the am) her little yorkie would snooze with me curled up at my stomach under the covers. Usually kids have a teddy bear to snuggle with, but i had sophia. Although once my mom went to bed Sophia left to be with her. She passed away at the age of 14... i never thought i could cry so much. We went shopping and i saw a add up before i went into the grocery store, and there was Guidoune. She was originally for my mom but she some how choose me. She he he... (was kinda forced) into sleeping under the cover. She's grown to love it over the years. I got my teddy bear back! Lol... long story... but she never sofacated under there. Our winters can be quite cold her in canada so she loves the under the blankie thing! Best wishes

| When did you start? How old were your babies when you started letting them sleep in your bed? My Mia is semi-crate trained and only 4 1/2 months old. She cries most nights for a few minutes when I put her to bed so of course I have terrible guilt (being the good Catholic that I am) leaving her in her crate. I tried it one night and she hopped off my bed sometime during the night, pottyed in my bathroom and then sat next to my bed and cried until I woke up and picked her up. So I tried again a couple of weeks later (that was 2 weeks ago) and I got up to use the bathroom and came back to bed and sat in a wet spot! Do you realize how fast puppy tinkle soaks through 7 layers of bedding? I couldn't rip it off fast enough! In her crate she can go most nights and be clean and dry in the morning so I'm not sure how old she should be before I try again. It's getting colder at night and I think she would be so much happier with me! |

| Lola sleeps under the covers about 80% of the night every night. Sometimes when she gets too warm, she will stick her head out the top and leave her body under the covers. It's like she is trying to be like her mama! Sooo cute!
