 When did you start?
How old were your babies when you started letting them sleep in your bed? My Mia is semi-crate trained and only 4 1/2 months old. She cries most nights for a few minutes when I put her to bed so of course I have terrible guilt (being the good Catholic that I am) leaving her in her crate. I tried it one night and she hopped off my bed sometime during the night, pottyed in my bathroom and then sat next to my bed and cried until I woke up and picked her up. So I tried again a couple of weeks later (that was 2 weeks ago) and I got up to use the bathroom and came back to bed and sat in a wet spot! Do you realize how fast puppy tinkle soaks through 7 layers of bedding? I couldn't rip it off fast enough! In her crate she can go most nights and be clean and dry in the morning so I'm not sure how old she should be before I try again. It's getting colder at night and I think she would be so much happier with me! |
