I think I am doing better. I start the new job next week - move into my new apartment the week after! I have decided to paint my bedroom PINK!!

My upstairs neighbor works from home and has agreed to let my furkids out twice into the backyard each day, so I feel much less guilty about them being home alone.

I bought my furballs winter coats (after living in Miami, the cool air is SO confusing to them!)...

It still hurts...love can be painful, but loving the wrong person does not make me feel bitter or cynical, it only helps to show me how beautiful love will be when the right person comes along.

In the meantime, I am MISS INDEPENDENT! No one tells me how to spend my money, dress, walk, talk, eat or think! I am delighted at all that I have yet to discover about myself and when it gets rough, I snuggle up with Louis and Ella Bean and realize - true love comes in furry packages and is unconditional, constant and I want to model the way I live and love after these two little miracles.

I was sorry to read about the bad things you've been through this year......but sad to say............the DIVORCE sounds like it is the best thing you could be going thru!!!

The gal that posted right before me gave you some priceless words of wisdom!!!! Hope you take it to heart...and your real love is out there somewhere...waiting to be found... Take it from me.......I had a BAD, TERRIBLE, AWFUL marriage....and I didn't even realize how bad it was until things fell apart......and until I found my soul mate...so don't give up.......Stay strong....and don't lose hope for love....it's out there.....

zenzele, thank you for your wisdom. It is so meaningful to have the benefit of other's experiences and their feedback on a situation.

I do have to say, I am worried about being a 'single parent' to the dogs. Not that the jerk did all that much, but I guess there was a security in having 'backup'.

The stress of moving and my anxiety has gotten to them. Louis my Cavalier has chewed on his leg, leaving a little raw spot and my yorkie mix Ella Bean is crying all the time!

What can I do to help them through this as well? I know they are feeding off of my stress and anxiety...

around... i was am divorced too. loved my x to death, thought my world
was coming down on me, got sick.. not worth it.. im glad he divorced me,
like you, i would of never did it and would of wound up misserable or dead .
thought i would never find another man,, but they are out there. good luck
with your new life.. you will learn to love it.. you have your babies to care for now.. who needs a man... he will get his.... i promise
