CupofDog, I am twice your age allow me to share with you some of what I have learned in the 25 years since I was 25 years old...1. Never love someone more than you love yourself, you must love yourself at least as much as you love someone else that way you will give the best of who you are and you will recognize an unhealthy relationship and will have the wisdom to get out of it. 2. When you have ended a bad relationship... (even if you thought it was a good relationship, the reality is that it was a bad relationship because of how he treated you)...but when you have ended a bad relationship, thank God because He has released you so that you can be free for the good relationship that will come to you if you pray and ask God to guide you to that relationship. 3. Before getting into the next relationship, develop and nuture a relationship with yourself, you need to get to know you so that you will be able to recognize who will be best for you. NOW... Don't be sad anymore, allow yourself one day of grieving (you've had that day!!!) now dry your tears, stand tall and in the words of Dr. Seuss in "Oh the Places You will Go"... "you're off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So ... get on your way!!!" MOVE ON YOUR FUTURE IS WAITING FOR YOU!!
