Thank you so much. Its so unbelievable - this whole thing. He morphed into a completely different person and the healthy part of him that I fell in love with gets smaller every day.

Having a rough day. I feel like my world has been yanked out from under me and I am so uncertain of everything. Just trying to breathe and concentrate on the present and my puppies...

you are going to get over it.. we all do.. its gonna take alittle time though.
divorce is like a death and it destroys you.... but your doing just fine.
you have me to cry on if you need ok... i will cry with you, i feel your pain,
i know your pain... the cool thing is, im friendly with my x now and im happy
and he isnt ha ha... he regret the decision he made and its too bad and alittle too late... you will find the man of your dreams someday, just dont look for it, for it will happen when the time is right... for now, just concentrate on
you and your babies and thats all you need at this time...

It does feel a lot like a death...so true. And while I don't know if he regrets it already, while I got a job and an apartment - he is living on his grandma's couch!!! I hope someday we can be friendly, if only because he truly was my best friend...But after the pain and hurt and abandonment, I know right now is not the time to reach out - though I am totally worried about him. He made this decision quickly and hastily and has a massive alcohol/ drug problem and is not sober. I know he sounds like such a loser - he probably is - but love isn't logical now is it?

I do hope someday I am in a place to even consider starting a family - but now its the furthest thing from my mind. I had so many hopes and dreams for our future together that I have to mourn for.

he may not have regrets now, but girlfriend he will ,make take years to come. just try to
forget him.. go on with your life.. dont worry about wanting to be friends
with him right now.. hes a coward the way this was done..and dont feel sorry
for him neither, he made his bed so now let him lie in it... just to let u know,
my divorce was mainly over drugs too.. but thats no excuse... what really helped me was, i just said to myself over and over, minute by minute..
he dont love me, he dont love me..he dont love me , why should i love him
it worked for me... why would you want to be with someone who doesnt love you.. keep that in your head. whether its drugs or not.. let it go... your way more important than that.. dont bring yourself down to his level..

I won't say I totally know how you feel, but my husband of 4 years moved out over Labor Day weekend. I am only 28, but it's so devestating!! One day you will be feeling good, and then out of the blue you'll have a bad day. My husband hasn't filed for divorce, I don't know if he will or not so everything is up in the air. If I didn't have Tobey, I don't know what I would do. It totally feels like your world as you knew it has been totally flipped up side down. Sometimes I don't know how I am going to get through it, but having my fur baby there to snuggle with helps a lot. I hope your days get easier!

I am so sorry. I feel your pain, sister! Men are so confusing...I can't believe your husband has not told you if he will be coming back (if you even want him after what he has put you through

) or if this will be legal. Are you two even in touch?

I am also young - only 25 and we were married 5 years. My whole adult life was with him and I have never been alone...

Truth is - my husband emailed me he is filing for divorce, but I havent seen him take any sort of action. Now that I said that I am sure the papers will be delivered tomorrow - but still.

I just got a book you might want to read - its called Not Your Mother's Divorce and its about young women whose marriages don't work out and helps guide you through the emotional fallout. I don't know - but it helped me feel a bit better today, maybe it could help you.

Trying to just breathe...and focus on the one truth - I would honestly be more upset if I were to God forbid lose one of my furkids. So that is kind of telling. And because, thank God I have them, I know that tomorrow morning I will wake up to my two hungry babies nudging me out of bed to feed them breakfast and go on our morning walk...and that is what is keeping me going.

You are young, but A very strong person! You will and can make it on your own with your two little yorkie's to help you along the way!
I have never married, and raising a Son who has autism. He is now 15 yrs old. I was 24 yrs old when he was born.
We, as A womaon are much more stronger and independant then any man would ever like us to be. Not all men are terrible, just some, especially when they are young and still "growing up" Men take a long time to mature , and some do not ever achive it !
Do what is best for you , and take care of yourself , and your furbies. I am very sorry that you had to go through the divorce at such a young age. However, it may turn out to be a belssing in the long run. You already have it more together then he does, and that says a whole lot about him.
I wish you the best and know that you will do fine and be well on your own. You will be sucessful tooand make a good life for yourself and furbies. Who knows after the dust settles you may meet Mr. Right.
