| ![]() I have loved Yorkies ever since I was a little girl. I started researching about them in High School and decided that was the dog for me someday. I love that they don't shed, their beautiful coats, their size, and their independent nature. I visited a friend of my Mom that had a Yorkie, so I could see what she was like and if it was still what I really wanted. I adored her! So, now I finally have one! Now my MIL loves them too. She always thought they were yippy dogs and would ask me why I wanted one every time I mentioned them. Now she has a little one of her own and told me that she never thought she could love her so much! ![]()

| ![]() I fell in love with the breed when I was in my 20's but because I had two small children and was told by breeders that they wouldn't sell me one because of that. I promised myself that when I retire I would have a yorkie! Got my first one when I was in my 40's and he was the most loveable and human like dog I ever had. Now I have 3 and am looking for my 4th. They are everything to me and I must admit it was well worth the wait. ![]()

| ![]() I got my first yorkie in '92. At the time I was struggling with infertility and had for years. I longed for someone to take care of. I got my Lucy to fill that void in my heart. Small, dressable, easy to love and eager to give love. I fell head over heals in love with the breed. When she passed 10 years later the pain was unbearable. It was a longtime before I was ready to get another just out of the fear of having to lose them all over again. Inevitably, I know it will come. But I have 2 now and am so happy! Yorkies are simply the best. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I should add that I finally did get my skin babies too :P
