I got my first yorkie in '92. At the time I was struggling with infertility and had for years. I longed for someone to take care of. I got my Lucy to fill that void in my heart. Small, dressable, easy to love and eager to give love. I fell head over heals in love with the breed. When she passed 10 years later the pain was unbearable. It was a longtime before I was ready to get another just out of the fear of having to lose them all over again. Inevitably, I know it will come. But I have 2 now and am so happy! Yorkies are simply the best.

I should add that I finally did get my skin babies too :P
