No I was confused about the 3 Streamglen yorkies and there not being other parti colors Blah blah blah. Not sure what she was tryhing to say. As for the chocolate Biewers, if they exist I imagine they are running uip against some opposition also.

I wonder how many of the yorkies born with white spots on their chest and toes are actually parti carriers? Back in the old days prior to DNA and the understanding of genetics that we have today, people were ignorant because they knew no better. But today we do know better and science is more advanced, so what was once thought to be in the mid 1800's, we now know isn't true.

There is no difference between breeding back coated yorkies to blue coated yorkies, or breeding another "off colored" yorkie to a traditional colored yorkie. You are still breeding an off color to the standard blue colored yorkie.

Oh, I didn't think you were replying to me, I thought we were just having a discussion with some people wondering why it does bother some of us. I think this thread has been very informative and respectful, especially considering others on the same topic.

Actually Sue, I was agreeing with and referring to one of your previous posts when I commented on the breeding back to standard colors yorkies...

That is where most people are confused. They wonder: How can these champion yorkies be carriers of this "awful" gene that results in these new colord offspring.

Forget about the color....I love the multi colored babies....My concern is breeding 2 dogs with simular gene that causes, Livershunt, colapsed trachea...etc...
Thats my main concern here.
