called Neo-Predef, it contains tetracaine, neomycinsulfate, etc. It worked wonders for my dog. | |

| Diesel is going on 3 years old and He weighs 4.5 pounds. He was about 3 pounds or so around 6 months. So He didn't grow too much more.

| Our Sophie was about that size at your Baby's age. She went to the Vet this morning and is at 17.1 lbs. She has gotten pudgy and that's the reason I joined today. We need to get her weight down a bit. BUT - without the weight issue - I feel certain that she would still be 12 - 13 lbs. |

| Scooter is at 8 lbs. now and he's 11. He's gained 2 lbs. in the 8 yrs we've had him and I'm afraid that he's going to get fatter. My dh won't stop with the treats. He takes him out every morning around 5 or 6 and he gives him a treat when he comes back in. When Scooter wants a treat, he know which one to go to. Yorkies are so intelligent.

| I always thought it would be "cute" to have a real little one. Mine are : Rocky 6lbs @ 6years, Romeo 6.5lbs @ 13months and Rosie 7lbs @ almost 2! Now I have my newest baby, Raindrop who is 1.8lbs at 4months old. To be honest, it's a little scary having one so small. I am always afraid the others will run right over her, and possibly hurt her. She (Raindrop) thinks she is a big dog, and runs after the others. I do keep her in the playpen when I go out, while the others have the run of the house, and can use the doggie-door. So to me, the people that want a tiny Yorkie are not really thinking of what they might have to go through. Of course if Raindrop remains small, then she does. I will just have to really watch out for her with the other dogs, and people that may come in my house. I sure don't want her to get stepped on. So size is just a number. What will be, will be. | Maverick is 6 months today and he is almost 8lbs. I still look at him as being small and can't imagine him any smaller then he is. So I wouldn't worry. |

| Let see last check around 9 pounds depending on training and just how much time we spend chasing balls and hicking. Now that does not count the 80 pounder that think she is a yorkie though. Nor the other wee girl that think she a dog but is a cat. JL |

| Well, I can't help you with that because my little Bailey is almost 16 weeks; so not your baby's age yet .....she weighs 3.2 lbs. I have no clue how much bigger she will get and I don't really care because I love her regardless . Her vet for some reason doesn't see her getting too much bigger but we shall see

| Since the AKC stipulates that yorkies are to weigh between 4 and 7 pounds, does a yorkie that weighs more than that means s/he is not a purebred and that somewhere along the line there was a crossing of two different breeds? I bought mine as a purebred yorkie but now he weight 7.5 at 16 months and his hair is not silky nor blue, but cottony and black. The head, legs, chest, etc. have the proper tan/gold color. |
