| you know i got my baby from i guess what's called a backyard breeder, but she had yorkie's for $350 so i called when i spoke with her she seemed very knowledgable but she referred to the puppies she had for $350 as ugliest in the litter but i said being a breeder she is shooting for certain standards so i would come see what she had. when i arrived she had 4 puppies in the house 2 as she said were her ugly ones 2 were her beautiful ones. the ugly ones had slightly longer legs but cute not to say the 2 other ones "were" beautiful but to me they were to small they weighed about 2 lbs. and cost a whole lot more. But you know i took an ugly one home with me but to me he is beautiful like i said he is 5mos old tomorrow and weighs 5 lbs now. since i only paid $350 for him she would not give me papers (said she did not register that litter) but it really doesn't matter to me i love him. he has a great personality and i get compliments all the time of how beautiful he is and you know they are right!!

| I don't think the size will matter to me...of course the very small yorkies are very cute and you have to be very careful with them cuz they very easy to get hurt.. Im very happy with what i have..Ginger is about 9 lbs and Charlie 5 1/2...Both very healthy |

| From my experience with my two...your little guy shouldn't get much heavier. Mine both were pretty much full weight by 6 months.

| Molly is 15lbs and adorable! She is very fit and healthy..she can outwalk and outrun me any day! I guess some yorkies are just meant to be bigger. I had to take her on the london underground last week and she was as good as gold.(had to carry her on the escalator and throught the barriers of course) I wonder how i ever managed without her. |

| Yay! I'm so glad to see that someone else has a Yorkie that is about 20 lbs! My Lilah weighed about 19 lbs before she got pregnant...now, with less than 2 weeks to go, she's around 23 lbs. Vader, my little boy, weighs about 10 lbs. While I know that they are big for Yorkies, I wouldn't have them any other way...It's nice not having to worry about them getting hurt because they're so tiny and delicate, especially when they are running through the house playing with my 3 kids! | My pup is about 5.5 pounds at three months. ![]() I prefer larger yorkies to the "teacups"... They're sturdier and seem a bit less frail health-wise. My Ollie can already jump on and off the couch without me feeling like I have to worry about him hurting himself. |

| We have two. They are from the same pair, but different litters. The older one, Bailey, is about 6 1/2 pounds, and at that she always looks very little to me. Her younger sister, Meggie, is a bit over 7 pounds. We saw both of the parents when we chose Bailey, so we had a pretty good idea what to expect. I really don't remember, but I think they were both up to about 5 pounds by the time they were 6 months old. Everyone has their own preferences, but my wife and I have moved from initially thinking we would like to have had smaller Yorkies to now being very glad they aren't really tiny. Ours are big enough to play with vigorously, but they still look pretty small to us - and most other people. Of course, I think they're perfect, but if I had to choose again and the choice was limited to either bigger than our two or smaller than our two, I'd definitely go with larger. |

| My chucky is 2 1/2 lbs at almost 3 years old, my New baby (no name yet) is 7 months and about a little under 4 so I'm guessing she will be around 5-6 lbs. |

| My Teddy is exactly 2 pounds at age 4 months. The breeder thought he would reach about 3 pounds full grown so we'll see.
