| Wishing you the best of luck. I've never heard of a vet that wouldn't assist a sick animal, payment or not. Be sure the vet understands that you have a very limited budget, and they should take any treatment one step at a time. Since it is almost Sunday, I would suggest waiting until Monday for the vet. Off hour consultations are very expensive. Do you have him on as bland a diet as possible? Rice, baby food chicken meat, lots of water (put a little Karo syrup in the water to make it more attractive to him and so he will drink it and not get dehydrated.) Hoping for the best possible outcome here.

| As far as the Paypal account goes, if you have any friends with Paypal that you trust, you could send them the money (it's usually free for personal to personal payments). They can then withdraw it to their bank account and then give it to you. Good luck! |

| I'm so sorry for your predicament when all you're trying to do is help this poor baby get well. Do you know anyone who has a Paypal account that you could send the money to? That way, maybe they could withdraw the amount and give it to you? I would talk to your vet and see if you can work out some sort of payment plan. Since the pup is sick and needs medical attention, I'm sure if you explained that you are on a limited income, they will work with you. It's worth a try. God bless you for trying to help this baby! I wish you all the best!

| There's quite a few things that would cause the symptoms you're describing. Have you seen any worms in his stool? Another possibility is that he has coccidia, an intestinal inflammation caused by a bacteria. The treatment for that is Albon but he really needs a fecal to determine just what's wrong. Watch out to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated. If he seems weak you can give him a little Nutrical or, if you don't have any, use some karo syrup or honey or molasses. You only need to use a dab at a time. This may help to keep him from going downhill on you until you can see the vet. Good luck with everything. |

| I don't know if you have this bank around you, but we have a First Convenience bank in our Wal-mart that you can open a checking account for just 20$. I understand the prediciment you are in, if my vet didn't let me pay him later, I don't know what we would do sometimes. I hope you can find someone who will work with you. Good Luck and bless you for trying to help this little guy.

No, I don't want a handout ! I wouldn't take money from ANYONE for anything (unless it's work). I just need some ideas that aren't happening in MY head and there's so much knowledge about (esp) financial stuff that I don't have a clue about. It's just been so frustrating to be in this situation and feel like you're hitting a wall everytime you turn around!

REALLY? About the fish and potatoes and green beans? I'll try ANYTHING! Yesterday (when I posted this) he wasn't eating anything at all (this is his typical M.O. when he starts this)....but then at nighttime, it's like he's all better , wanting to eat. And his poops eventually get better (not perfect, but better), and he keeps the food down. I tried putting a little plain yogurt in his morning feeding b/c I had hoped it might help the intestinal flora (a little knowledge is a bad thing I'm starting to think!).....I will PM you! Thank you! Although I'm not sure he'll eat green beans. I know he won't eat cottage cheese or yogurt (unless it's disguised in his food). But I'm def. willing to try. Since he's eating today and back to himself, I'm going to just leave him on what I've been giving him just to get him thru til tomorrow! And yes, he def needs to see a vet~ which he's going to do TOMORROW!

And no, you can't even send money without being verified..meaning linking it to a bank account!!! My real reason for agreeing to setting it up that way thru my boss was b/c I figured I could get stuff on Ebay and buy things from some of the sellers here at YT and just Paypal it.....but the first thing I tried to buy on Ebay, came back saying I needed to be verified. UGH...what a fiasco. I'm sure it will be wonderful to have once I establish a bank account. I imagine that with the relatively (to me anyway) high monthly limits they allow people to depsosit into their Paypal acct's or transfer, they found that they needed to have a better accounting of it for government purposes....it seems like it would be a way for people who had that tendency, to "hide" money somehow the way it used to be. I'm FAR from any financial wizard (duh), but that's just my thought about why they might have changed it. Regardless, the amount of money I put in there is kind of laughable, but...it is what it is .

| I justed wanted to let you know that my boy Otis used to get grumbly tummy and mucousy stool when he was younger. Chicken and rice never helped and usually made him sicker. I'm not suggesting this for you, but wheat bread settles his tummy to this day. I would try what simonandhallie said. Good Luck, I hope everything works out.

The kicker to this is that two of the vets who work at my own vet (in fact one of them IS my vet, although she wasn't there this night and the vet that we saw, I'd never seen before at all) are the vets at the clinic . Which, even though my vet wasn't involved, it kind of put a bad taste in my mouth. But.....I am taking him into my vet tomorrow, God willing nothing bad happens today! I was just so worried that this would escalate over the weekend and I'd have to take him back to that place! Thankfully, it looks like I won't! I am giving him just boiled white rice that's been cooked with a small amount of ground turkey and just small (like 2 Tb at a time) amounts. He's taking water now without any problem, and I picked up some nutrical yesterday, for just in case. Although, when he's not eating, he refuses everything, but I wanted to have it anyway. At least he's eating now and keeping it down! Again, thank you!

. I'm going to try one other thing, but I'm not too hopeful. I think the smart people signed up for Paypal before they instituted this policy (I WAYYYY behind on the learning curve here). But thank you for trying anyway, I truly appreciate it!
