She post these on craigslist, ebay, local grocery, vet clinic and anywhere they would let her put a flyer with the dogs story. The cost of the print was up to the buyer/donator. I thought this was so sweet and creative but I didnt think it would help her much. Wrong I was she raised $14,000 in 3 months. Its definatly not a fast solution for the money. But maybe you could get the credit and then try to recoup it later with something like this. Alot of people are willing to help (especially for you its such a sweet story) and getting a small painting or something is all some need to encourage a donation. For some people it shows your not just asking for a hand out. Good luck. Things will work out somehow.
Thank you so much for such a cute idea! I know...making and selling stuff takes time but it sure can't hurt! I think it's incredibly generous of you to share that with me (or us).

No, I don't want a handout! I wouldn't take money from ANYONE for anything (unless it's work).

I just need some ideas that aren't happening in MY head and there's so much knowledge about (esp) financial stuff that I don't have a clue about. It's just been so frustrating to be in this situation and feel like you're hitting a wall everytime you turn around!
