| That is a "smart answer"!! I can't believe the people that ask "how much did she cost"!! I hate to say how much I paid for her because it really isn't any of their business but I don't want to be RUDE either!! I am going to start saying we got her at a shelter too!! THANKS!! |

| I'm shocked at the difference in prices around the country. Here in MA it seems to be in the higher range. Have alot of you had your pups shipped to you? I've never thought of doing that before, but can you get a great quality Yorkie shipped to you for a reasonable price?? |

| picking up my little guy Saturday for $550. They originally listed for $650 a few weeks ago and said to be ready Dec. 13th but obviously the price dropped. I'm in Maryland. They had 1 girl and 4 boys.. and there's still 3 boys left (one of which is mine!) Parents are AKC registered and puppies have been dewormed and had first set of shots. | Cricket was a present from the breeder, who is my sister. She's CKC registerable, but I never sent in her papers. Zaccheus was free, because I rescued him from being put down. He was born with a cleft palate, but he lives quite a normal life.

| My little LuLu was totally a gift from God. In June, 2008 we had to put our little miniature dachshund Annabelle to sleep, due to MAJOR back problems. We were told by our vet that she undoubtedly was born with some of the back problems but also had some new ones.....not a candidate for surgery. I was totally devasted. Well.....long story short....after accepting Annabelle's fate....I later googled yorkies for sale in Alabama. I had no knowledge of yorkies. My hubby had said he wanted one and my family had been trying to prepare me for the day that something happens to my 14 year old peek-a-poo. Well....an ad came up with no prices. The puppies were gorgeous. I called. She said she sold her females for $1,200. There was no way I could afford that at that time. I told her I appreciated her time...we got to talking....I told her my story about Annabelle....she said if we would meet her in Montgomery (she was in Dothan) that we would agree on a price at that time that we both could live with. We left.....not really knowing what was going to happen.....when we got there....she had 2 females......LuLu was the first one I saw and immediately fell in LOVE! We talked......another long story short.....she sold us LuLu for $400.00. She's AKC registered, 9 months old, and weighs 4 pounds. I NEVER knew that something could grap my heart so fast. I still grieve for Annabelle.....we loved her dearly.....but I am forever sold on yorkies. And....I have gained a friend for life......Trish and I stay in touch frequently. God is so in control and knows exactly what we need and when we need it. Sorry for the book.......but I love to share my miracle story. LuLu IS our miracle baby.

I love her, and no show dog here just my lovely girl...LOL, Harry boy was 9 months old, the breeder said he was cheap because he was "OLD" but I felt in love with him right away, hubby paid $175.00 for him and, he is a VERY healthy boy and he came with ACA papers, which we don't care for,he is OUR boy. hugs, cArmen in nj |

| Everything in Connecticut is way over priced. There were puppies in the next town but they were $3000. I ended up going to Rhode Island and paid $1800. Still over priced but I wanted one badly after losing my 13 yeqr old male Yorkie to cancer a few months prior. I knew if I didn't find a breeder I would break down and buy one at a pet shop which I knew I shouldn't do. Puppies from breeders around here are expensive.

| Junior was 800 and 250 shipping . Got him from a breeder in Missouri. Searched months and months for a breeder in NYC but there prices were wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to high. Found another breeder in NJ by my moms house but i just couldnt spend 2500 on a pup. I dont need champion lines or a show dog. I wanted a pet. looked at shelters but couldnt find a small dog..i have a nice size apartment but not for anything over 6 pounds..lol But he was worth every penny

| Stormy was 1.5 years old and $500, she had APRI papers but now I've learned after the fact that this was not any good!! I think I got kinda ripped off but it's okay she's in good hands how at least! And with the money I've spent already I could of easily just paid the darn 1,000$ for a good pup from a breeder. Oh well for next time I've learned! |
