Oh Lauren I'm sorry to see that Mango doesn't feel better. Poor baby! I hate throwing up and I can't imagine how hard that is on a baby so small. I hope she is feeling better by tonight. I know that that would ease your tension and my panic about Jamie getting neutered tomorrow. Lots of hugs to you both!

Lauren, I'm so sad that Mango is feeling so grotty. I hope she does not vomit again, otherwise, you're right, I would also take her back to the vet. If not, you may have a miserable night ahead of you... not knowing if indeed this is normal or something to worry about, especially as she was so ill last year.

Please keep us updated.. we know how precious she is.

Oh poor you! Reading all this about vomiting and so on, what with you preparing for tomorrow. I will definitely be holding a good thought for little Jamie. If it's any consolation at all, years ago when my little male Tigger was neutered, within 12 hours of his surgery, it was like nothing had happened to him at all. I hope your baby has the same not too unpleasant experience. Perhaps it's because the male's procedure seems less instrusive than spaying. Either way, I wish there was some magical, high-tech potion that could be an alternative to their painful experiences.

I am waiting for a call back from the Vet. I thought Mango was improving because she had not thrown up after 2 hours, but she has just vomited twice in the past 20 minutes. The last time was almost projectile. She was circling around then put her head down and it just "shot" out of her. I can't believe this is normal. She did not throw up immediately following the surgery last night, why now???? I am so worried about her; I thought she was doing better and even gave her a little Evangers Cooked chicken about 2 hours ago.
I just don't know.....

Oh, and you would be totally welcome at any of our meetups. The way you describe Roxi, sounds like her and Mango would get along just great. Mango seems to have forgotten to become an "adult" completely, and is in a perpetual state of demented puppyhood. I just love it.

Hey Lauren... Sorry it took me so long to answer about this... And I got the name slightly wrong, its "rescue remedy"!!
Heres the link... This stuff is SO amazing, the fact that its all natural and I didn't have to give her a bunch of chemicals sold me... then I tried it with her, and wow its awesome!!

Thanks Melanie for the link. At the moment I am scared to give her anything, because she keeps vomiting - just did so again...3rd time in last half hour. I am still waiting for the Vet to return to his office, and I am becoming increasingly anxious.

This stuff is great. It helped Daisy alot with her stress.. And works well for humans too

I just now noticed this. Does the mint tea help with the nausea?? At this point I am prepared to try anything. I did speak to the vet and he said if there is no improvement by morning, to bring her right in.

Not a great day here. If I can find this, how much would I give Mango? Their web site says four drops for a human. I am going to send Jack out later, see if he can get this. Maybe it would calm her queasiness. What do you think???
