I am sorry you are having these problems. You should take your dog to puppy classes, they hold them at places like petco. Best of luck!

| ![]() Even though he is young there is really no way to know if he was treated poorly and maybe this is something that is a direct action from her previous home. Regardless, I would get a trainer involved to help you out so that you can nip it in the bud, and I don't blame you for being a bit afraid... teeth hurt. As far as that video, what the heck is wrong with that guy to think its something impressive that his dog acts like that. I hope he gets HIS arm bit the jerk ![]()

Yes I thought so myself, nothing impressive about that dog, but I had to find a good snarler so you all can see what I mean and hear what I mean the sound of the snarling, so mine does that but rushes at the same time. He was SPOILT at the breeder and I saw that when I went to get him, he seemed to have had RUN of the house ![]() | |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() I know what you are going thru. My pom is very aggressive when I try to get by her face to clean her eyes, or get something form her. SHe has bitten me and if she has something or doesn't want me to pick her up to put her on the floor she will snarl and go after me. I did take her to class when she was young but she is just aggressive when she wants to be. When I take her to the vet she couldn't be sweeter and will let me wipe her eyes open her mouth so I am sure the vets think I an crazy when I say she is aggressive. Maya came from a petstore so I thought maybe it was bad breeding. SHe can also be so loving on her terms. I definately think training will help. SHe is also a terrible barker.

| ![]() i would say you should take him straight to behavioral school. Skip the socialization until after you both are finished with the professional trainer. In the meantime if you have any male human in the house regularily see if he can tell him no. Sometimes dogs will listen more so to males because of their deep voice than females. But that doesnt mean that when you bring him to the professional trainer the man gets to do all the punishing make sure that you do it as well if not more so that the dog knows that you are also in charge not just the male.
