| I Am A Bad Mommy ! ... ok so most of you know we went to FL for a month on Vacation and while we where there I had the genius Idea to have Maya groomed. So we went to Petsmart and 'dropped' her off. It already made me mad that they would not let me stay and watch. Well go figure ... here is what happend. 3 hr. later we pick up Maya and I have to say they did a good Job on her but ... Maya refused to come to me. She started shacking and peed on the floor. They dramatized her and it is ALL MY FAULT !!! I should have NEVER left her there. She bit one of the Ladys (pretty bad) but I think it was her fault. They tried to put a Musle on her and could not do it. 2 People (4 HANDS ) where holding a 2 lbs. Yorkie down to get groomed. Thats what the Lady said. I can't imagen what Maya went through ... so I got rude with the Lady and she yelled at me .... 'Your f...... dog bit me - how about that'. Bad thing is Maya would not see me at all for about 4 hr. after that - I was ready to cry - I never ment for her to be treated like that.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Oh gosh that is horrible. Sorry she was traumatized. Your not a bad mommy sometimes things happen. Thankfully she wasn't hurt. Lulu hated being groomed and after the first time I took her I decided to do it myself. So I learned...it wasn't the best but it was good enough to keep her looking nice and not scruffy.

No wonder my baby bit you, she probably didnt like another b*tch tramping around in her space!!!! You nit witted pea brained uppity skank! One time Chico got upset and peed while he was getting his nails cut, but he was scared, but NOBODY ever told me that I couldnt watch my dog get groomed!!!! I always stay. They even let me watch my CAR get SERVICED!!! lol... And obviously our babies are more important than a car! So, I would be like, fine, then you don't need my business either... There's something up if you can't watch your dog getting groomed!

| That is so sad, I am sorry for what happened to your Maya. I do not understand why most groomers will not let you stay and watch, it make me nervous. You just dont know with people these days, it makes me scared to take Lily to anyone.

I have never seen her like that. It took 4 hr. for her to come out of her Hiding Spot and see me. I felt sooo bad .....

| I took Murfee to the groomers once. He hated it and so did I so I groomed him myself ever since. He may not look the greatest but I know he is safe.

| Can't people report you if your dog bites them? This wasn't your dog's fault but now you might want to groom yourself in case she starts biting all the time at the groomers...

| Wow! I'm so sorry you had such a horrible experience. I hear that on YT about PetSmart, but I've gone there for years and never had a problem. I used to always stay with my poodle until I found a groomer I really liked and who Indy was comfortable with. Even then I stayed sometimes. I usually stay with Tink cause my old groomer left and I'm just not ready to let her be alone. Once I left her because I had to go to work, but I went to get her as quickly as I could. But don't think you're a bad mommy because you left your baby where you should be able to leave her! It's not your fault. They should be trustworthy. You should really complain to the management. AND she should NEVER have spoken to you the way she did. Good grief, she is in a service industry and she chose her profession. Where was her head?! |

| The only people that hold Ellie down are her vet staff. I wouldn't blame her if she bit either but because I know she has the tendency to be nippy I don't let many people hold her.

| How rude I think you should contact the manager of Petsmart and tell them how that lady talked to you. Whether or not your baby bit her, she had no right talking to a customer that way. I'm sure she gets her fair share of being bit by dogs all day long but to cuss at a customer like that is not right. |

| I went to pet smart a few times..The first few times I had this really nice woman groom chewy that let me stay in the room with her and help her hold him. I like her a lot. But then there was these two younger girls that were not so nice, they were trying to cut chewy's nail and there were three people holding down a 3 pound dog. I was watching from the window because I refused to leave. At one point they had me come in to help... Chewy was a 4 month old puppy and I couldn't cut his nails cause he was so afraid... What a horrible ordeal it was. Chewy and I were both tramatized. I never took him back. I took him to a groomer that let me stay and help her. I groom him now and the only thing I don't do is his nails...I have the vet do that.
