I don't think ANY dog belongs in a restaurant. I would not eat somewhere that allowed that.:thumbdown |

Hmmm, well don't go to France then, cause they all allow it. I would proudly take my Yorkie anywhere, she's clean, she's beautiful, and she's my baby, and I'm proud to eat with her, I'm proud to show her off... Guess why my best friend doesnt take her kids anywhere?? Cause theyre dirty and they stink. lol. Plus, Panera Bread in Pittsburgh allows dogs... and ALL the expensive hotels... who have food there... |

I know that there are actual laws and health regulations that restaurants and grocery stores MUST follow or they'll be shut down. I would like to be able to eat inside with my dog but I know restaurants don't have the option of letting me because of the current health codes. However, more restaurants with outside dining need to allow dogs. If people are eating outside, they are already exposed to the elements, including bugs, birds, etc....so there is no point in not allowing a dog there. There are some restuarants that allow dogs on the patio, but I never understand why most don't allow them...I mean, we're OUTSIDE! |
I agree MFL... I mean, there are some places who just allow me because of Roxy's cuteness, and nobody ever complains... Dominic's - a beer distributor/pizza parlor... Panera Bread Four Points Sheraton Y2- its a little sports bar near my boyfriends... Macy's - its in the mall near the food court Hot Topic - also by the food court... and a few other places have let me in with her... if I think of them I'll tell you, those are the ones I thought of now... But all those places serve food. I really hate when certain stores dont let me in that DONT sell food... that is REALLY pointless!!! Like Big Lots told me one day I had to go outside... One day a girl told me at Old Navy that I couldnt have my dog, and then a manager corrected her, and said I could... SO NA NA NA NA POO POO!!! LOL :p |

I def agree with Kiwi... Theres also a lot of ppl overpopulating that shouldnt... I happen to know a few... they just shouldnt have kids... But Roxy is part of my family... She is my daughter... I don't care what anybody thinks of that... but when it comes down to it... I love her, I take care of her, I feed her, I make her food everyday, I give her medicine, I bathe her, and I will have to do this for the rest of her life, not just until she gets old enough to do it herself... She is also very attached to me, and when I leave she gets stressed out, so I try to take her with me everywhere I can... The bank, the store, baby shopping... all that... I can honestly say I love her as much as I would love a child if I had one. I will probably never have kids... which is a regret... because I always wanted to... But I have Roxy, and she is just as good... And when I see my best friend's kids, sometimes I'm glad. It would rip me apart if my child said they hated me and did some of the things I see kids do... Roxy will never do that. She is always by my side, always loyal, always loving... Unconditionally. This is seperate but... One time I met this older lady in PetSmart. I was talking to her and she told me she had a Yorkie named Sarah that Roxy reminded her of. She spent time with her, and her grandkids treated her terribly, but her dog always loved her.... One day, her husband and her went on a trip upstate for a few days... When they came home their 3 year old Sarah was dead... She had stressed herself out to the point of where she collapsed... and the doctors said the only thing they could tell was that she died of a broken heart... That is heartbreaking... and I wont let that ever happen to Roxy... I cried in PetSmart... I felt so stupid, but I cried... I am too overly emotional... lol |
