Bella fell of the top bunk!

Yeah, mom, way to go! At my house, my rules apply, age doesn't enter into the equation. No one gets treated in a way I don't approve of, animal, child, adult, whoever. Neither of my sons would dare challenge my rules at my house. They will never get old enough to put an animal in danger at my house. By the way, they have never done anything that made me enforce this rule, but they know I would.

Can the top bunk be moved? Is it one of those you can simply place on the floor next to the other one? If not, I think I'd get a saw and cut it in two!

I feel your pain this morning I went to pick Carlos up off out bed and he thought it was play time and ran right off the other side of the bed. We have hard wood floor and all I heard was a thud. I was so scared I started crying my eyes out. But he got right up and jumped in my arms. I hope he is okay he seems to be action fine no problems yet. Thank the lord!

How did everything go last night?? Did Bella sleep well in her kennel? And how's your daughter doing? I hope she isn't sulking around or worse yet being snippy to you. Know you're a good mom!!

I so understand and hear where your coming from.. but be the boss,. and protect that baby, and pray she does not have a child too young, for you will end up raising a grandchild too..I did not have to raise my grandchildren and thanks god for that.. my daughter is a good mother, but also had a good husband to help her with all the responsibilities of children..

Brittany Spears did not do the young people justice for buying all these dogs, but she can afford for some one to look after them, while she totes then around looking cool...

Your right i knew what had to be done and never thought any of you were being hard on me you were just giving me what i needed and that was the courage and the backup and sometimes even the scolding i needed to do what i did

Happy to report Bella slept well in her kennel all night she never woke up once My daughter on the other hand isn't to happy with me but oh well at this point i can care less because i know she will get over it

OK - as a daughter who was a pain in my mom's rear (I never put any life on the line but I was a BRAT) & now as the mother of 3 boys - you did the right thing. She "hates" you now but, most likely, she will get over it. If you are lucky, like my mom was, she will get over it soon. I realized pretty quick that my life was better with my mom in my corner - now when one of my boys gets an attitude & I don't let them get away with it, she is right there to tell me I did the right thing (then once they are out of earshot she reminds me that "I am paying for my raising"). Sometimes it takes "tough love" to get thru to someone...
