For the mother here, I personally think I would take that baby yorkie away and make sure some one had it that would care for it, and I would not allow her to have one in the house. She sounds very irresponsible and it sounds like she knows she can just do it no matter what is said to her..
Almost sounds like this dog will be seriously injured or die, and she will never see it coming..
A top bunk.. make her put the bunk down on the floor.. stand your ground as a parent. You be the alpha dog in your family pack.

So glad Bella is really ok. Parenting can be tough, but I suggest you sit down & really have a discussion with your daughter about responsibility, truth & consequences. I have a feeling that you are probably the one housebreaking Bella & caring for her the majority of the time. You need to set your daughter straight on this. She needs to join YT - sometimes hearing it from someone who isn't related to you can make a difference. And if she is going to be a pet owner, she needs to do it responsibly. Is your daughter going off to college in the fall? Who will take care of Bella then? For the lifestyle she wants, it sounds like college better be in her agenda.

yep i am doing it all i am the one who takes her to the vet feeds her 90% of the time gives her...her meds and pad training her she talk to her and pets her about 30 minutes a day that is about it and we she goes off to college she expects us to take Bella for the first year

Ok guys it has came down to this we can't get rid of the bunks because we have 4 girls and have to have them but she has been told that Bella is coming downstairs with us in our room and that we are going to take total control of Bella until she is mature enough to take care of her. (i doubt that will ever happen) i don't want to ruin the relationship with my daughter but i am also not gonna have her ignore me and put that babies life at risk. We are the parents here and whether she likes it or not she is going to do as we say and if she wants to get at us and move out that is fine but she won't be taking Bella with her i am the one that has taken her to the vet i am the one who has all the vet papers in my name and i will fight her if i have to. I love my daughter but like i said i cannot and will not let her put Bella's life at risk just because she doesn't want to hear her whine and get woke up at night. I am also gonna let her know that when she does have kids they will also cry and wake her up at night and that she can't just lay them in bed next to her and expect them to fall back asleep she will have to get up with them and care for them i tried telling her this about Bella but as you can see she didn't listen NOW I AM GONNA MAKE HER!!!

I;m glad you took a stand...I teach high school, and hear this kinda stuff every day... but as a parent you still have the upper hand, dont forget that

OMG, I had one skin kid, and I tell you she is a girl, and I sure know what your talking about.. every ounce of it.. my daughter had a cat.. and that was great, but she had to clean the kitty litter.. and we had not worries about the cat falling off a bunk bed..
I so understand and hear where your coming from.. but be the boss,. and protect that baby, and pray she does not have a child too young, for you will end up raising a grandchild too..I did not have to raise my grandchildren and thanks god for that.. my daughter is a good mother, but also had a good husband to help her with all the responsibilities of children..
I hope you did not think any of us hard on you, for I think you knew and needed to hear the posts you got..
I hope all is well, but now you will have to update us from time to time..
Brittany Spears did not do the young people justice for buying all these dogs, but she can afford for some one to look after them, while she totes then around looking cool...
