| ![]() OP, you truly haven't experienced b****** if the caring, helpful and honest comments here come across that way. I for one, have been glued to this thread hoping to see a lightbulb come on. Sadly, that hasn't happened. You may look back at this in 10 years and say, "oh, NOW I get it". Perhaps time and maturity is what is needed. As for the way the YT members have handled this, I think they've been extraordinary. Yes, I read the original thread. I wish you had done so with open eyes instead of being defensive. Good luck to you and your pups.

| ![]() You still have pups that are going to potentially have genetc problems ( collapsed trachea and LP) that you are going to pass on to unsuspecting buyers

OP I have not Commented but watched the thread. What Judy says here is Great and Very True. Almost everyone just wanted to help and and you just Really took it all the Wrong way. What can we say to you so you will see the Light????? We care about the Dogs and the Puppies, First and foremost. They give you advice and you take it as stabs to you. they were not. But when you start Getting more and more Defencive It shows that you do want advice and that you feel you know it all. Well I am 35 and you know what.. I feel that the day is waisted if I don't learn at least one thing new.. OP>........ Open your Mind reread the post and I hope you Learn a little. No one wants to hurt you but when you get hurtful It makes one think You were out for that in the beginning. I wish Both you and your dogs Well. | ![]() I'm glad all went well! I raised several litters years ago of Yorkies that is. I only had the bitch and bred her with Ch stud, she went to the owner of the stud for breeding. I don't think I could let my Molly do that, I don't have to think about it because she is spayed. I did enjoy raising the puppies and hope you will enjoy yours. The worst is when the puppies left to new homes, I wanted to move in with them to make sure they took care of them right. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | ![]() To my fellow "B's" as we have been so ignorantly called: Listen first and foremost the OP is not listening to a dang thing that has been said. I read the first thread and just finished reading this one. The person sounds rather immature, naive and rather ignorant to me. I would just not waste my breath anymore. I will say a prayer for the babies and their future owners. I too have had a sick dog in the past and I know the heartache and expense that came from it. I pray that those pups future owners are spared that. She definitely did post this thread as a sort of na na na post. But you know what it just also adds to how immature she is. Hopefully she will wise up and not 1) see the money made from breeding, 2) the cuteness of wanting to see her babies babies and 3) wanting to have her babies have some experience and realize that she is just a BYB. She is not doing anything to better the breed and definitely breeding a line of dogs that most likely will have genetic problems. How can someone think that Collapsing Trachea and LP are not a problem that can be passed on. Amazing because she has her baby's pedigree that she thinks that it's all good to breed him/her. Wow is all I can say. I would suggest that everyone no longer waste their time in offering her sage advice. Like a small child it goes in one ear and out the other because it's not what she wants to hear.

| ![]() I am absolutely shocked and appalled that you would have the gall to call out the "B" word to people who have tried to help and offer you sound advice. ![]() ![]()

Nobody is saying you CAN'T breed. Obviously anybody can. You have to be willing to learn. Regardless of how long you've been breeding. Wether it's your 1st time or if you've been breeding them for 40 yrs. There's ALWAYS room to learn. When you've decided there's nothing more to learn, that's when it's time to stop.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | ![]() What is this? a thread to gloat? Congratulations on your litter, and I hope that they stay healthy and strong. But I feel like the only reason you posted this was to say "Told you so!" how very mature. ![]() If people like you took time to research the breed and the MANY genetic health problems, then there would be a lot less sick yorkies in the world that break people's hearts. My first yorkie had a liver shunt. We had him for a month and he died. And it was thanks to irresponsible breeding that we went through that pain. You don't seem to realize that just because your girl got through her pregnancy alright, your pups won't have health problems. As the person who brought them into the world, YOU are responsible to make sure that their future owners know and are aware of the fact that they may have problems like colapsing trachea and LP. That isn't something you can hide from them. You also need to tell them that you didn't have the proper tests done before you bred her. They need to be prepared to fight an uphill battle. I hope that nothing happens to your pups, but reality is that it is VERY possible that something may go wrong. I am angry that you would come on here and make a mockery of the breeding practices of our expieranced breeders who put time and effort into the breed, and studied for years before they had a litter. No body knows everything, but they know SOMETHING and you would be very, very wise to get off your horse and listen to them.

| ![]() Ah, once again Megan proving that age is not always an indication of ones maturity level and that they are not always directly connected. ![]() |

Well said. No one will ever be able to accuse you of needing to grow up. Your parents must be very proud of you. I know YT members are.
