| I seriously think you should try getting your next baby from CarlyBaby's breeder. Beatrice is absolutely gorgeous and seems pretty healthy in spite of her being so petite. I believe he went to a Montreal or Ontario breeder. Can't remember which, but it wouldn't hurt to PM him about it! |

| It could also be a very short plane ride away. Good luck on your search! I see there's been other Ontario recommendations on the other non-regional thread. |

i think i might have my friend drive me (she goes to montreal a lot for modelling from toronto) and maybe i can take the train back or vice versa.. no way my mom is driving me that far nor would let me take the car! you figure when ur 22 your parents will let you drive their car??? i don't think i'would feel comfortable renting a car and driving it myself with a new puppy

| If it works out with that breeder, maybe you can take the train there and then get driven back. That way you'd have more control over how frequently you might want to stop to give the puppy a break of any kind. And if anything god forbid should happen, there will be pet stores and vets around in nearly every town! You probably wouldn't be able to enjoy a train ride so much when you have a little one to worry about anyway. But glad to hear that you're giving that option a shot! I'd love to get a Beatrice twin or cousin or sibling myself. She seems to have a very sweet temperament and all I have to go by are the pictures and videos her daddy posts. They're all too darn cute. But I think part of it is his great sense of style and how he manages to groom her hair so perfectly to complement her natural beauty. |

Maybe you can get your own car when you move to Korea? If I recall correctly, that is where you're headed soon? Again, good luck!

it also might help that i don't my my g2 license lol but i'll get it in may (my foot broke so ive got a walking cast on my driving foot) i doubt i'll buy a car when i'm in korea since i'll only be there for max of 1.5 yrs but if i can get a license there i'm sure my family in korea will not have a problem of me driving one of their cars there :P i mean i've already prove to my aunt this summer that i'm much a better driver than she is with only a lerner's permit (g1)

from what i spied on beatrice's daddy's page he's a hair stylist! so she's got a pro styling her daily to look her very best! ive got fashion in my blood (cousin's a designer) but man am i ever lazy to do anything! i guess i'm fortunate enough that i can go to school with dark dark under circles and hair in a messy bun and wearing wrinkled clothes lol i'd rather pick sleep over style (but hey thats university life right? lol). my new baby will probably get min in grooming and i'll prolly keep up the puppy cut... easy to manage if i don't do my hair i doubt i'll be doing the dog's hair.. unless if its for special occasion of course

| LOL. I never do my hair... I think I've stopped consistently combing it about 15 years ago. I have no idea what happened to my comb and brush. Now I just keep combs around for my little girl. On occassion I catch myself running her comb through my hair. haha, but generally, just running my fingers through my own is good enough as it doesn't tangle. My cat also needs regular combing (I use a metal flea comb) to help with her shedding. The 10 yrs of experience thing makes sense over here where a lot of the young'uns end up killing themselves or other drivers and pedestrians when their parents are out of town or even in town and they're racing their cars in the middle of the night. Quite a few hit and runs too. That's probably why our insurance premiums here are so high. Now there are also road rage issues that has nothing to do with "young" drivers, and people who run lights and they're no longer near what you can call young anymore. But it does help to minimize some trouble. If you have less than 10 yrs experience and you are a "friend" or relative staying at the same address, I believe it's alright to drive the car and still be covered under insurance. This also makes sense because a friend or relative may think twice before engaging in some irresponsible driving while visiting or borrowing a ride. |

| It was also sad last night when we were heading somewhere. We passed by an incident. It seems it happened not long ago (witnesses already stopped and calling for help) but the driver and his male companion of the vehicle that must have hit the poor pedestrian at the crosswalk in the middle of the road were present. One was holding the injured man up with his legs stretched out in front of him. At first, I only saw a pair of legs stretched out, one of which kept twitching/rocking from side to side. He looked so out of it. I didn't think it was recommended that they MOVE him even. But I guess they held him up to see if he was alright. My feeling is, he (and his body) was too much in shock to feel the pain on his legs and possibly the rest of him. These 3 (incl. the injured) were all middle aged men and yet, I don't know if it's the pedestrian who crossed at the crosswalk before or after the light changed (it was a pedestrian controlled crossing) or if it was the driver who decided to charge through the light as his car was stopped right at the crosswalk line right after the intersection. In either event, the driver must have been distracted and/or driving too quickly to not notice someone crossing. This is in the city; it doesn't get pitch dark. There are street lamps. |
