If it works out with that breeder, maybe you can take the train there and then get driven back. That way you'd have more control over how frequently you might want to stop to give the puppy a break of any kind. And if anything god forbid should happen, there will be pet stores and vets around in nearly every town! You probably wouldn't be able to enjoy a train ride so much when you have a little one to worry about anyway.
But glad to hear that you're giving that option a shot! I'd love to get a Beatrice twin or cousin or sibling myself.
She seems to have a very sweet temperament and all I have to go by are the pictures and videos her daddy posts. They're all too darn cute. But I think part of it is his great sense of style and how he manages to groom her hair so perfectly to complement her natural beauty.
