Needless to say my husband and I went out for an hour and a half for fireworks the fourth to return to find my small little girl ripped up by this animal her skin coming off the hind quarters puntcure wounds all over her body covered in blood and dirt. She must have been attacked out side and drug her poor little self in the house I immediatly swept her up and washed her off to see the damage. I then took her to the vet she already had a 105 temperature and he picked her up to look at her tummy she had MASSIVE BITE wounds covering her body some to the bone it look like a pitbull attacked her. well she is in the vet for a min. of 15 days she has gone under twice to be operated on.
How very sad for the little yorkie and I feel really bad for the dog.

Now my question to you is...if you noticed a pattern of aggression from this big yorkie towards the smaller one, why didn't you kennel the agressive yorkie while you were away? Kenneling is not just to keep yorkies out of trouble but also for their own protection. Why was this allowed to happen?

Well, it's obvious that the breeder doesn't want the dog back and there is nothing that she or you can do about the attack. Perhaps you could find a rescue group that would take her or get her fixed and rehome her and cut your losses. Find a home where there are no other animals and she can be the Queen Bee. Best of luck.

I agree - it's not the poor dogs fault and I hope she isn't punished for this - they went thru some major changes and maybe she'll do much better in a one dog home.

I hope you find a solution & am so sorry for the little one that got hurt - I hope she's getting better...

thank you for your kind words as to why we didnt kennel her she was left with the two dogs Kelly said she was housed with at her kennel and not to worry. so after the attack when I called she said she didnt do it there. which I dont believe that is why she was so persistant I take her, Just got home from seeing my little one and it is so sad she is all stitched up from head to paws she was so happy to see us and I hand fed her but have a long road ahead, as for the other dog. trying to find it a home. and am not turning my back on her she was up to her behavior to day and had to separate her even while i am home.

Default Simbas Pride

I spoke to Kelly from Simbas Pride a few days ago because the puppy I bought from her 2 weeks ago had some diarrhea. She was really nice and the puppy is doing great now. I guess they just sold their house and are moving to Virginia because I think she got a job offer there and changed their plans. She gave me her new phone # in Virginia if I have any other problems. I think she said they'd be there next week.

Hi yorkeezrule.
My daughter just went to court with Kelly, Her puppy had Girhardia which led to many complications. Several death episodes etc. and a $2100 vet bill. Kelly was very nice during the course of illness, offering to help, replace with new puppy etc. Once he recovered her story changed. Our vet said he had to have had gihardia when we got him because of gestation period and he was diagnosed on 3rd day.Vet also mentioned that good probablility the mother was a carrier. Usually not a devasting disease but on these little guys it is so do watch your little one. The judge did tell Kelly in court that she broke the law (by not supplying a vet examination etc) Anyway can you please forward her phone number. If she is heading to Virginia we won't know how to resolve our still pending court issuue.
Thank you.

Interesting. I have never heard of Giardia leading to complications except if it is left untreated with long and untreated bouts of diahrrea and/or vomiting and you will know they have it from the diahrrea. I have had Vets miss it in the stool sample and now I have Vets that I can get the required medication from and just put them on it. Flagyl is the treatment of choice for giardia.
I hope the right person is being sued as in my opinion often Vets screw up and blame a breeder. I am not saying it is your Vet it could be the breeders Vet or if the breeder knew giardia was there, the pups/dogs should have been on meds. If they were on Flagyl it may have not been long enough.
It is kind of hard to know who is negligent.
A vet check by the breeders vet for a health certificate does not require, to the best of my knowledge, a stool sample so giardia, coccidia, worms would never be picked up on that might be there. If there are no symptoms yet, the Vet, the breeder and the buyer wouldn't know. Even with a stool sample Vet's or their techs miss stuff all the time.

It sounds like your daughter doesn't have much of a case because I work for a lawyer and am very aware of the Nevada Statutes. She only broke the law if she didn't provide the vet papers after requested, it doesn't sound like your daughter even asked for them. My puppy has no parasites and I also own a couple other dogs that I purchased from the same breeder. From what I know about Giardia, it's not that serious of a parasite and is easily treated, that's what I've read and heard.

i went to court last week with these people in Nevada over Ruger. There is not a decision yet since the judge had to check with a vet about giardia, however he did make it clear that she had broken nevada law by not supplying me with vet information. Check the Nevada lemon laws there are a lot of things that will void the signed contract and you can take them to court. I also highly doubt she is quitting the busniess. It is obvious to me that these people do not care about animals at all and i have been fighting over my do since oct. you have to file in nevada for court but i rec taking her to court the more people who take it to court the more likely she will lose her busniess liscense. I am so sorry about your situation i feel for anyone else who has had to deal with these people. I will keep everyone posted on what the verdict is from my court date when i find out. your baby is in my prayers!!!!

acutally the nevada staute states that the vet information was to be provided to me at the time of purchase not that i had to ask for it, and i did request it. I am aware of the treatment for giardia being that my vet treated him for it also there is a gestational period for giardia and it was proven that the dog had it before he was sold to me. She also provided a contract that stated the dog was checked for all worms etc, and giardia is a very serious parasite in a 1 pound 11 week old puppy, it can put people in the hosptial truth is i had a very strong case and one of the statutes stated if the dog needed emergency med needs within 10 days of ourchase i had different options for refunds. So although i dont work for a lawyer i too know the Nevada statutes.

I remember when I bought the 2 dogs from Kelly iN May she had told me that her dogs had this disease you are talking about and how all her dogs got it and it took lots of time money vet bills and cleaning to get rid of it and that she now treats her dogs for it as it is pasted on to the off spring. She said to watch out for it I had never heard about it and her husband kept trying to tell me more about it but Kelly shut him up, So you had already had a case with her Im assuming when she talked about this. I went to her web site and it says they retired to Virginia which is a lie. She told me she was keeping 7 of her dogs she called show dogs and how much better these dogs were in fact she had 2 more litters and wanted to sell me a puppy for 2500, for my daughter, so she is going to continue to breed but more money for what she says are show dogs, I wonder if she will change her site. Please come forth with an address and phone number so we who have been taken by Kelly can keep tabs on her it will be a matter of time before they are in the Puppy mobile and have a new puppy mill going. I know she is expecting another baby so how long will she be actually working. She said to many breeders here now. in west coast Shell want to no doubt set the market again.
