| I never posted how small the puppy was, I didn't say how much it weighs or say it was sick. She's healthy, she's just so tiny if you're expecting a 7 month old. She's not any different than all the yorkies I see in the for sale thread that are shipped. She's just much younger than I was expecting. She bounces around here and plays and is eating tons and doing fine. I'm not worried about her flying. As you can see in my previous post the vet said she is not fragile. She's been getting tons of love, great food, chew toys, I took her to the vet....what stress has she been under? I've been sleeping with her on the floor to make it easier on her through the night. My Lola came to me at 11 weeks old and 1 1/2 pounds. Flying a healthy puppy does not put it at risk. Zoe(that is what we named this puppy) is just fine. I think your comments: " I'm sorry. I'm sorry for you but more sorry for the puppy" were heartless after you just read everything that's happened.

| You obviously wanted a tiny when you bought her. You have been here long enough to do your homework here at least. You say the dog is healthy and happy so why does she have to go back? I agree with Villette, I am feeling sorry for the dog too, and that is ALOT of stress for a teeny baby. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I wasn't going to say another word but since you called me heartless...It bothered me. when you were looking for a puppy - you did a thread asking about this breeder asking for peoples opinions & I went and looked - Well - you never SAID you had already bought the puppy and if you had ...I never would have bothered looking & just said congratulations to you. I'm really sorry you were misled but my first thoughts are always with the dogs. Flying is stressful. You have cabin pressure - the noise - & just the stress in general and YOU were the one who said how tiny she was - that's all I meant. I said I was sorry for you and meant that ....but I AM sorrier for these little dogs when things don't go right. ps - YOU SAID SHE'S the size of a BIRD - that's where I got how tiny she is - please go see your first posts -

| awww Villette we all know your not heartless . and I have to add ...so what if the puppies age isnt right, you wanted and paid for a tiny and got one...I'm not understanding why your sending her back......if she is healthy what difference does a few months make ..... but the breeder should not have lied about it either.... if it was me I would keep and love her to pieces .

| Be sure to feed her before flying, don't stuff her though. And nutrical is a good idea at the airport. Send a ziplock bag of food (with instructions, how much) with the kennel, they'll feed it to her if there is a big delay. |

| I am so sorry that you are going through this! Getting a new puppy is suppose to be an exciting time, not one that makes you sad. I really hope that maybe this has been a honest mistake and that you get your refund without any problems. As for the food on her flight back, I am surprised that she said not to feed her. I thought that the airlines required that they access to both food and water. I just had my puppy flown to us from California to Missouri 3 days ago and she had both in her kennel. If it were me, I would give her food for the flight. Again, I am very sorry for you and your family!! Tammy |

| Wow, just the homepage of that site raised red flags all over the place. I'm not surprised you've had issues. A good illustration of why we constantly see warnings here on YT to RUN from any breeder using the "teacup" word. More often than not, it ends in some kind of heartache. Best of luck to you and whatever you decide to do about the doggie.

My heart goes out to you, you're in a very emotional state - which is 100% understandable. Please know, Villette is truly one of the kindest, most thoughtful, sweetest and supportive members I've ever come across on this board. Please take a breath, re-read what she said and remember her good heart. I read her comment as "I'm so sorry for you and what you've had to go through. I'm even more sorry for that puppy bc of what she's gone through and bc a puppy/animal is 1000% vulnerable (and can't "reason" her way through her experiences like us humans)". Do what you feel is right, of course, but is there anyway you could maybe sell the pup locally to someone you could screen? Or, are you absolutely sure you couldn't keep her? Clearly, you are a victim here - but this pup has already been even more of a victim - and it seems so sad to put this pup on a flight and back in the hands of the breeder. I guess what I'm saying, and I mean this gently, is that maybe it'd be best if you took on the burden of finding a great home for this pup, that maybe you take responsibility for this baby and not put her through any more. I do agree w/ some of what's been said - you probably did quite a bit of homework, as you stated above in your research, and you trusted your findings enough to go through w/ the transaction. So... This is just my two cents, take it or leave it. If I was in your shoes, there probably would be a part of me that would NOT want this breeder to receive any money and I'd want to reverse the transaction. But, at the end of the day, what was BEST FOR THE PUPPY (this vulnerable, dependent little creature) would win out over my desire to nullify the transaction. There is a lot of support here - you may even find someone on this board who might want the baby. Best of luck and take care, Ann

| i mean if shes eating well and she is okay then i think you should keep her, i dont see how you could send her back just on age i see if you wanted a younger puppy and you got an older one and she would never be the age you wanted. but it seems to me you got a younger one then eventually and trust me they grow fast she will be 7months. |

| I really appreciate all your support. Thank you for helping me through this difficult time. If you're expecting a 7 month old puppy and get a couple of month old puppy then wouldn't it appear to be tiny to you in comparison? I was in shock. I had never read anything negative about this breeder, in fact, one of her puppies grown up was shown on the Yorkie Fair "look who's coming" page. I have a tiny, I have experience with taking care of a tiny. I do not think it's ok for someone to lie to me, fake papers, cause me to have a nervous breakdown. So, obviously to some of you I should just keep the puppy, let her get away with it and then when she does it to someone else, maybe even another member on here, say "oh, well...too bad for them, it's their fault for not knowing any better". Which I did consider. A puppy has to be healthy to even fly, so come on, do you think I'd ship a puppy that I didn't think could make it?! A puppy I've been sleeping on the floor with to make her nights easier??? She's not really the size of a bird, come on, it was a metaphor for how tiny I felt she was for what I was expecting. If anyone described their puppy as being tiny as a mouse I wouldn't really think it was the SIZE of a mouse. When I posted I was hoping I was wrong and that someone had a positive experience with this breeder(she has nice references on her site and there are a lot of members here). I will only post this last message and then I'm removing my membership from this site, you guys have broken my heart and there wasn't that much left that wasn't already broken

I was just wondering...do you think that breeder would give you a more "fair" price for what you received vs. what you were expecting? I wonder if, for example, she'd refund $2000 - you could keep the pup or sell to someone you trust. And, even if you kept the baby, you'd still have the other money to spend on a later pup. I mean, $1000 is still a lot for the breeder - and if it was her mistake then she should "right it" in such a way that it most benefits the pup AND you. I do hope you stay, I really do.
