This is sad. You care for this puppy, (sleeping on the floor even!) that is obvious. No one was debating that, hon. I don't think anyone meant to hurt you - there is just a lot of concern for the pup - and we all gave opinions without having spent the $3000 - so granted, you'd have more on the table than others.
I was just wondering...do you think that breeder would give you a more "fair" price for what you received vs. what you were expecting? I wonder if, for example, she'd refund $2000 - you could keep the pup or sell to someone you trust. And, even if you kept the baby, you'd still have the other money to spend on a later pup. I mean, $1000 is still a lot for the breeder - and if it was her mistake then she should "right it" in such a way that it most benefits the pup AND you.
