| Clouds Kennel Kinak, Oklahoma-Familiar? Is anyone familiar w/this a Kennel ran by a Ruby or Brandy Cloud. My brother just bought a yorkie from them & after several phone calls to confirm that they were getting the pup pictured which was a straight smooth coat & the smallest, they get a totally different pup w/curly hair & bigger then told. She says they can fly it back at there cost plus flight for another pup. Whose to say she will still send the right pup? I'm sure she already sent the other one somewhere else. I advised against shipping & trusting them to send the right one They are young & cant have children. They are thinking they will just keep her, but I'm ticked I helped pick her & that is not the right one, breeders error or she was just thinking here deal with it. I wrote her & told her if she doesnt have their pup or refund in full & take it back I will be turning her into AKC. My brother & his girlfriend have asked me to be involved in choosing a pup & I gave them my advise & suggested going to get the pup in person no matter how far, but they chose shipping it. I told the breeder that someone would have been happy w/her if they chose her, this is not the pup we chose. Poor little puppy. This is just ridiculous. She was $1100 shipping included. Anyone hear of these people. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | That's a shame and probably happens more than we hear about....Reporting someone to the AKC does little to resolve the situation but you can ...and also, report them to the BBB & file a complaint. People should speak up if they receive a different puppy than what they choose especially with the cost these days of Yorkies. to document what happened - tell them to take lots of pictures of the puppy to compare with what they were shown before they paid. |

| Thanks V. I plan to. The lady jerked the ads her ads off puppyfind as soon as paypal went thru. Usually people leave the ads up w/sold for free advertising. Well the result may be keeping & loving a different puppy then originally planned but not w/o a stink to make this breeder think before she does this again to someone else. |

She assured me this was the one she wanted. I spoke with her last night and told her if she was disatisfied to fly her back and I will replace her puppy. I sent the one she chose. We talked on several occasions after she chose the puppy. Both of the puppies parents are less than 3.5lbs. I don't keep any femles or males over that weight. The puppy at 8 wks weighed 1.3 lbs and she asked that and thats what I told her. I have been around lots of yorkies and at 8 wks if you double the weight thats what it will weigh when full mature. I sale yorkies all the time and they all are small and under 3.5lbs when grown. So if you chose the yorkie you shouldn't try to put the blame on me I will work with Korina just like I told her last night. Rachel wrote:You times the 8 wk age by 3 (not 2-unless you also tell people they are full grown at 6months when dogs grow up to 2yrs old), the 12 wk by 2 to get a estimated weight-fact. Oh well its their money & she is not telling me what you are saying, She said that you confirmed it was the smallest pup to the left in the pic of 3 w/the smoother straighter coat & you could tell she was obviously smaller & had its ears up, this one has floppy ears which yorkies arent suppose to & thats why we chose it I was sitting there w/her when you told her that, she said yes she smallest, the furthest to the left. Korina's just young & doesnt know how to deal w/confrontation. I do & I know this situation would have been different if it were me. I would have all my evidence & even though you have had your address erased from everywhere I would be at your local sheriffs dept filing a complaint & I'm sure they could easily find you thru the court house (kennel license) etc, you appear to have other ads on domestic classifieds in others names. I will just do some more investigating & see what I come up with. The dog warden & sheriffs dept will be able to tell me if this is the first time they've had a complaint or not. Korina has said you said the mother is onlty 2.9lbs & dad 3lbs, you should not be breeding dogs that small. I will make sure to ad that in my reports about your kennel. You may have got the money, but its not worth it when it ruins your rep. Korina said you admitted sending the wrong dog. They are dropping it but I'm going to still throw a tantrum because I dont like seeing people get away w/this. Good day. |

| Wow. You go, girl! That breaks my heart that people breed such tiny females. Actually makes me sick. Those little bodies are not equipped for that kind of stress. I hope eveything works out to your and your brother's satisfaction. Sadly, it doesn't sound like it will. Even though the kennel owner was totally wrong in what she did, I hope your brother can still love and cherish this puppy. I'm sure he will. It doesn't take long for them to wrap their paws around your heart strings! |

| I am glad that they are in love with their baby but I surely dont blame you for going after her! It is horrible what happens to these precious babies. Good for you, for showing this person how NOT to treat people.

| If it was truly the breeders error, she needs to pay to have the dog shipped back (poor puppy) and reship another. I am soooo tired of people advertising one thing, and then not following through on their end. When I bought Sachi, I was told 3 pounds max, hhhmmmmmm, took him to the vet today, 7.5 pounds. Not even close! (I know nobody can say how big a certain dog will get, but please). And the "tiny" breeding male I bought also turned out to be severly roach backed, cotton coat, and luxating patellas. Anyway, I guess the moral is that sadly you cant really trust anyone anymore. People need to take responsibility for their actions. |

| Hi, If you paid by Paypal you can file a fraud claim and usually get your money back. I don't know if the puppy will have to be returned or not, I would assume so. I think you've got a 45 day limit to file though. Whitney |

| I still don't understand why anyone would buy a dog sight unseen!!! You wouldn't buy a car or a home sight unseen. Most of these dogs are from puppy mills or back yard breeders. Did you even ask for a bile acid test to be done and Vet. records and health certificate? Why don't you just look under the AKC site, go to breeders then to Yorkies breeders. You will find the closet to you. Go look at the pups, the parents and the breeding practices. |

| I wanted to tell you guys that my brother said this pup at 11wks went & scratched on the door yesterday, looked at him then jumped at the door-she needed to go out for #2,lol. She seems to be a smart little girl. Maybe this breeder is just a country pumpkin that thinks no one else will know the difference or care because she wouldnt. I dont know. |
