Brokers vs. Breeders

I do not know the answer to why a breeder would want to do this...why don't you ask one of them?...Elizabeth does run a business but she does it with care for her dogs that she places...she gives out her beeper to all of the new owners and is available 24/7 and that is for the life of your dog...she also gives all the info on the breeder so that you can talk directly with them and see the parents. I know there are some unscrupulous brokers and breeders out there but she is not one of them.

Everything that was said is very true with Divapups. I am sure there are some bad brokers out there but I know divapups is not one of them and would recommend anyone to use Elizabeth.

No problem Monet I am not upset with you... I knew the subject would come up at some point and I would have to deal with it. I love YT . We can all learn from threads like this...mainly to think before we condemn and also to respect others with different opinions.

Right now I am looking to give a good home to a little yorkie male. I want to see the mom before I buy the puppie. I contacted a women and she stated to me that she sells them for her father and he breeds the dogs. I told her I would not buy a puppie from anyone that would not let me see the mother first. I feel you have to be very careful out there now a days. To many sick dog out there. Just check with the vet hospitals and find out how many come in with hip and knee problems that is only one type of disorder. To many people are out there breeding for money.

I know this Thread is anciet but thought I would respond. Topknotchpups.com is also a broker and where I got my Jazzy. Susan who is the owner is a wonderful broker. I've been to her home (where she keeps the dogs inside a wonderful built kennel) twice and she takes very good care of her pups and all of them are shown nothing but love. I would never buy from anyone else. I made sure I checked all her references and she even gave me her Vets number so I could call her as well. Everything checked out great. She does not advertise as a breeder and everyone that buys from her knows she's a broker. Thanks for letting me add my two cents. So no all brokers are not bad.
