So much time is spent on this board discussing the "puppy" but not the momma. My response is always that it is all about the breeder. Key to that is how does this breeder care for the dogs she breeds. Even if it keeps one or two people away from a pet store or a commercial breeder the thread space isn't wasted. Besides its FREE Thanks again.

| I think as a pet/yorkie lover, if I was to ever question why there are breeders of animal...I guess I shouldn't buy any animals at all...

To know me is to love me! I keep each female in a cardboard box, where they pee, poo, eat and sleep. Easy clean up throw the box away, once a month. My males are free to roam, may the best man win! All my kids are rarely socialized, they bite the mailman and the kennel inspector. Play in my house is an annoyance, toys are something I would have to clean up. Treats only get them fat and once you start they beg and I hate begging. Grooming is a thing of the past, I line them up in the back, rain or shine, and adjust the hose on full force. I aspire to installing a drive through window so not to be bothered with puppy people, swipe your credit card and move to the second window, please! My puppy pac includes a fresh card board box and a show bow....Best of luck! lightening up the subject a bit Now the serious response! Devine your last post was well said and I couldnt agree with your more.

Explaining to people that you love your pet and will do everything you can to keep her safe is what makes you one of the good breeders. Puppy buyers need to know about you and what you do, what you have learned, what you have seen and how it made you the breeder you are. otherwise they might as well go to the petstore. or that big commercial breeder where they can get a deal. or that ad they saw in the paper. Buyers can't care about things they don't know about.

| If as a breeder- we all stop breeding the dogs then poof our breed is gone. Ladies it is much to risky for you to be having babies- every woman /female in the world should be sterilized. There we have solved all the problems. No more birth should be allowed of any type. I for one am tired of theory also. Lets talk facts and not what if. This thread IMHO is not going to educate anyone about how breeders treat their females. IMHO we have already established that there are different types of programs for breeding. To the best on my knowledge we do not have any hard core puppymills here on YT. If we did do you think they would stand up and say- I don't take any care of my females and just breed them to death." You have responsible caring people on this site who are here because they love the breed. I for one am insulted by what seems to be the contining attack of the breeders who post here on YT. IMHO If we stop reading and trying to provide help, suport and answers that have to deal with breeding who will take our place. IMHO it will be Those that do not breed and have no experience but seem to have all the answers or want to act like they do. |

| I think I know I am going to try to sum this up....please remember that I am a man and we do have a tendency to oversimplify things- Certain people- we all know who they are- start these threads and it appears to those who could answer that after the umpteenth time someone is "baiting" them into putting a reply down that someone can jump on and use the "AHA" factor- anyway most see through it- why people continue to do these threads over and over is beyond me. You can only ask the same question a different way so many times- We are all adults - its time some start acting like it and stop the baiting- I realize this is off topic but I think it needs to be said somewhere- I aploigize up front to admin but urge you to please leave my post-
