I honestly do not think it will matter what our responses are to this thread! Until you have lived in our world you will not know what we go through as breeders and what our thoughts are everytime we breed a female and help her whelp a litter of puppies.. JMHO.. |
I understand what you are saying and appreciate your response. I don't have any intention of ever breeding but as a responsible puppy buyer, knowing the circumstances of my puppies life was very important to me. I can sleep at night b/c I know her Mom was/is well taken care of.
So much time is spent on this board discussing the "puppy" but not the momma. My response is always that it is all about the breeder. Key to that is how does this breeder care for the dogs she breeds. Even if it keeps one or two people away from a pet store or a commercial breeder the thread space isn't wasted. Besides its FREE
