Yorksrule, you and I have said lots of words before and frankly, I'm not even going to bother with a response to you.

Most people who breed the recommended 5 lbs+ get very nervous throughout the pregnancy. With all of the people proclaiming that tinies are in demand and not having complications, I believe now novices are starting to breed tinies. How can the tiny breeders say it's going to be okay when you haven't even seen the dog? She hasn't even said what the vet recommended or the "size of her canal". Please breeders, put s/n contracts out for these tinies!

| Well I really don't care what you all think regarding my yorkie she is my yorkie and the vet said she is going to be just fine she will be able to deliver if she is pregnant. she has already been xrayed before she was in heat. so for those who have a problem with tiny yorkies having babies oh well... they can deliver just like bigger yorkies. I'm sure this will be deleted but I don't care either, this website is so rude when people post anything regarding a tiny yorkie. no wonder a lot of people left this website, I don't blame them a bit for leaving. I won't be posting on this website anymore which is no great lost to me. |

The people on this site are not rude, you started the thread and you're upset you didn't get the responses you expected.

then it really wasn't an accident ? I don't understand why people come here and post looking for help...then .....when they get it - they get mad ? MyTyYorkie ...you got some good advise and decided it wasn't what you wanted to hear - no reason to bash the site over it. I wish your tiny mom ALL the luck in the world and hope she delivers her babies without any complications.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Is it me or are people just getting a little testy lately ? I didn't understand the attitude in this thread at all - If I was BRAND new to a site and asked the same questions this person asked - I would welcome ANY advise and not get my feelings hurt over the answers.... Since MyTyYorkie posted she doesn't care what anyone says... then I can say this now I guess - this is just the kind of person that is scary ( I won't use the word breeder here ...because a real breeder would not do this) - This is someone who only wants a litter of tiny puppies and is not considering the health of the mom. I really hope her little tiny mom is going to be ok - poor baby.

| When you go back and read the first post, it says the female is 3.14 pounds..so she is 2oz from 4 pounds..she might have a decent size frame on top of it all. What I am saying is this...a female of this size is really not scary small..yes, she is small, but if her frame is a solid 4 pounds, maybe even more, she will probably do fine with good vet care. Would I tell a novice to chance it..NO, and the problem could have been corrected. The poster had not had her female spayed in 2 yrs, so she had to be aware this could happen so easily...and now it has. These problems are ususally self correcting without advise. Most pet owners go through this situation once..then make sure the female is spayed. Usually once is enough to wise up. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | man this thread bothers me - MyTyYorkie...I really didn't mean to sound harsh - I honestly didn't.... but it did bother me that you would only see the negative in the responses to you - people took the time to try to offer help to you and you did sound scared at first - then your whole attitude changed. I saw that you purposly bought tiny yorkies to breed so I'm assuming this was your intention all along - and I really do wish you the best of luck ..... but it doesn't mean people have to agree with what you're doing. |

That's good to hear.... but it still is getting scary with all the people wanting to breed super small females - and I didn't mean to be offending in my posts - but...IF I had a tiny little female - I personally would just never risk her life for a few cute puppies. Never. After reading the fear in her original post - I guess she knows this too

I wondered if I was looked on as a "member" of this "select few" often mentioned. I think it should be obvious now that I probably am. I am appreciative that my fellow "partners in crime" did not make me drink the cerimonial Virgin Yorkie Blood and do the ritualistic dance of the Boom-Boom tree.... geez, give me a break! I am quite happy that MY outlook and concern for this breed is indeed shared by so many others here.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | BamaFan121s !! you are so funny - that word 'group' or 'clique' was started a by someone who has issues with many many people. The funny thing is..... there are soooooo many people who post in protest over breeding these tiny girls.... so I would guess... this 'clique' must be just HUGE ....cause I see it all over the net - People just don't like to hear about 2-3 pound yorkies being bred....myself included...it just makes us sad. IT's all posted because WE CARE and not because of any group...but it's sure nice to be part of such a caring group of people if that's what we're going to be called. But I sure would like to see THIS : "do the ritualistic dance of the Boom-Boom tree" |
